Bearing The LORD’s Fruit
Regarding all these “rapture” posts and videos on Facebook and elsewhere…
I know every year, around the same time, we find people posting that this will be the year the harpazo or “rapture” will take place.
Normally, I ignore these posts or videos dropped in my inbox or email. However, this particular year has brought out a “more-than-normal” amount of sensationalists due to the recent events that have occurred around the world.
So let me just address a few things…
When it comes to the red heifers that were recently shipped to Israel, I want to first inform that they were all only a year old.
According to Mishnah (Jewish law), the heifers can be no younger than three years old to be considered for sacrifice.
So there is still a two year wait for the ones just shipped, and during those two years, any event can disqualify them; of which I’ll make my second point:
I want to remind everyone that in 2018, red heifers were presented to Israel in the same manner, and eventually did not pass inspection.
And even though there a many other events that are lining up with bible prophecy (i.e. the two-state solution announcement at the UN, the queen’s 70-year reign, shmita cycles, jubilee, wars, earthquakes, etc.), at the end of the day, the most important thing is that we are bearing The LORD’s fruit.
In the sixth month of the Hebrew calendar (Elul), we are taught that it is a time when “The King is in the field,” meaning it’s a time when the King leaves the throne and visits His people unexpectedly.
The idea is that no one should be caught slacking; everyone should be working, as this was pleasing to the King.
So many Christians are busy debating about when the rapture is, who’s going, who ain’t going, what some nut said about them on another post (like, who cares?).
THEN there’s all the non-Jewish people who are trying to speak on Hebraic things when a week ago they didn’t even know what a shmita was.
Let me shift your thinking and remind all of you that according to scripture NOT everyone who is EVEN anticipating the rapture is going in.
Remember, there were ten virgins: all were waiting for the bridegroom, all had lamps, but only half had enough oil.
Then Jesus, Himself stated that two will be in the field, and one would be taken and the one other left (Matthew 24:40).
There’s a consistent ratio Jesus gives in these parables: it’s fifty-percent.
In other words, even when it comes to those who are expecting His coming, only half of them will make it in.
This is why Jesus said, “Pray that you are counted worthy to escape the things to come” (Luke 21:36).
Saints, we’re focusing on the WRONG things.
The question isn’t whether or not the rapture is this Yom Teruah (Rosh Hashanah), the question should be whether or not you’ve bore enough fruit, and presented yourself as the light and salt that God ordained you to be.
The question is when you stand before the King will the pages of your book be empty because you wasted time on things that are vapor and give no account in heaven.
Ask yourself;
- When was the last time you fed the hungry or gave a drink to the (spiritually) thirsty?
- When was the last time you clothed the naked or visited and ministered to those who were sick or in prison?
- When did you last invite a stranger into your home?
- How about praying for someone other than family members and friends?
- Have you blessed your enemies?
- Have you forgiven and released those who’ve hurt you?
THESE are the things that matter to the King. All else are vanities.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Do you pray it?
Romans 3:18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.
As a great man of God once said. “We’re not there yet.” Dont assume, people who assume take it easy. Dont just rely on His grace. Stay active, Stay humble, pray, seek obedience to the Holy Spirit. Keep a repentant heart.
