Do The Cracks Show Through?

When the façade doesn’t cover well and the cracks show through, reminding everyone around you that you are flawed and imperfect.

Through the shattered image, with all the beautiful shards mocking you from the ground while you sit bare and wounded.

We paint over it, hoping that no one will realize what’s going on in there. We try to keep it locked up until we can’t anymore.

Drowning! Broken beyond repair and felt it would never be the same, a walk through hell and trying so desperately to find the way out. Looking up and crying out to God, “Where are you?”

Have you forgotten me and leaving me in this battle alone? Every part was numb and could feel nothing.

It has cost you dearly, hasn’t it?

Then “waste” it on Him, dear one.

Imagine that you have a flask, and in it lies your costly weakness or suffering. Break it at His feet.

Pour out your broken heart to The LORD. Weep before Him. Stand on His promises, even when (especially when) you don’t feel like it.

He will take your spilled heart and brokenness and ashes and makes the most breathtaking beauty! This brokenness gives way to transformation and wisdom.

Remember a seed has to crack and break before it can grow!!

Amen!! He will take hold of you and pull you from the deep waters!!

O Warrior Bride!

At the end of the day, the end of the hour, the Lover of your Soul is coming to rescue you from the glare of the enemy.

You may even say to him, “But, LORD, I don’t think I saw a change? Why did I war so deeply?”

Look behind you, do you see that crowd of people? They were chained, but you warred for them. You fought for them in the spirit and you see, the enemy has no room in their lives anymore!

He had to pack up and hit the road! Jesus, your King, your Bridegroom has freed them thru the warring, the fighting, the crying you did on their behalf!

Your cries through the night have come before The Throne. The night time is over, and a new day is dawning!

Your King has come to comfort you. He encourages you and ravishes you with His love.

Combine that love and violence, love for your King, love for the people, violence against the darkness and the evil one.

We are standing in the gap for that prodigal spouse, that prodigal child, that sister and brother chained by the shackles of the enemy.

We stand and fight out of the Father’s heart and his arms.

Let His fire be released within, let His love come rushing, rushing in mightily like an unstoppable flood!

Hear the heartbeat of your King and fight from that place! O Warrior Bride!

Be Willing to Overdo It!

Mary didn’t consult any of the men about what she was going to do.

She didn’t ask for permission.

The fragrance of Christ permeated her.

It did not matter what they said or how they tried to condemn her, all that mattered was the One who was sitting before her. Looking upon her with such a passionate fire within his eyes!

Letting down her hair was against the custom of the day. Mary didn’t care.

She was reckless in her passion to honor Jesus.

She poured out her all on her King and left carrying so much more than his own disciples for she carried his very scent.

The essence of Heaven!

Go against the flow.

Swim upstream.

Be willing to overdo it!
