A Turn of Tables
There are many, even in the Body of Christ who make certain that they avoid interactions or publicly associating themselves with another, because of their financial incapacity or instability.
You can’t afford to dress elegantly…. or drive an expensive car…. or “roll with the big boys”… so you’re ostracized.
What a day when the tables turn!
“There was a little city, and few men within it; and there came a great king against it, and besieged it, and built great bulwarks against it: now there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city; yet no man remembered that same poor man. Then said I, Wisdom is better than strength: nevertheless the poor man’s wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard,” Ecclesiastes 9:14-16.
Even the counsel and wisdom of such a poor person is treated with contempt.
True, pure ministers of the Gospel of Christ with untainted messages are denied platforms and recognition, because of situation.
God help us!
Be Still!
“Be still and know that I AM God!
Be still and wait in My Presence.
Be still in My Word for therein is much wisdom and understanding gained.
Be still and trust in the process.
Be still and trust in my faithfulness, I can never lie!
Be still as I carry you on eagles wings I will strengthen you, I will give you suck upon My breasts o weary one. See, even now I AM refreshing you, body and soul, with My Spirit.
Be still, the battle is not yours, allow Me to fight. There’s no need to justify yourself for I know all things and I will justify you. Justice is with me, vindication my habitation.
Be still child and allow the good work to be perfected in you. Let patience have her good work.
Be still! Even when you do not perceive me speaking to you, have faith and know that I AM still with you.
You’ve asked for faith, now it is being tested.
Will you allow me to finish what I have begun in you?
Must I not do with you as the potter does the clay?
My child, be no more wavering being tossed to and fro as one that is unstable in his ways.
I AM leading you beside still waters, come and be refreshed. It is only in My Presence.
Away from the noise and ceaseless chatter, away from the confusion and contrary voices.
Be still and know.”
