Be Confident of Who You Are in Christ!
Being confident of who you are and to whom you belong is key to maintaining spiritual stability!
As I lay here in meditation upon God’s word He has brought me to a scripture that is much needed in this hour,
“Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall NEVER fall: for so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ,” (2 Peter 1:10-11 KJV)
The LORD is speaking to me and he is saying that far to many people in the Kingdom of God do not know the power they have in recognizing who they are and to whom they belong to as the citizens of God.
He let me know that when we do not make our calling and election sure in Christ we are prone to failure!
Peter knew this and this is why he said it; not that Christ himself do not know that we are citizens to the Kingdom of God but because we the people of God must have that assurances our own selves.
Many people would see this as being arrogant and being boastful but Apostle Peter saw it as claiming ones inheritance as a son or daughter of God!
God has given his children many benefits as a result of salvation and Satan knows that when we are ignorant to that inheritance he can steal it from us because of fear, doubt or just plain old ignorance! Hosea noted that God’s people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, (Hosea 4:6).
Why was this a lack of knowledge when we have a bible, Sunday school, a five-fold ministry, social media and other avenues to the gospel?
Hosea could not have said it any better when he said that Israel’s lack of knowledge was not mere ignorance, but their willingness to sin against God:
“There was no faithfulness, assurance of who their God was or their steadfastness to love God like he had demonstrated his love for them and or no knowledge of God in the land; there was swearing, lying, murder, stealing, and committing adultery; they broke all boundaries and bloodshed followed upon bloodshed.”
The people were only ignorant of the Law because they willingly choose to ignored it!
Which is why Peter warned us to “make our calling and election sure so we would NEVER FAIL!” To do this it had to be decreed and declared when the sun was shining and when the storms where raging in ones life!
I believe in this season God is saying for his people to be very sure that you have counted up the cost!
Because, to make one’s calling and election sure is to live out the life of a disciple in the power of the Holy Spirit. And, it is to do more than to make a declaration of simple lip service to Christ.
But, it is to decree it with your heart! And, those who profess salvation but never grow in their walk with God will suffer a lack of confidence in both Who Christ is and to whom they belong in this season, and they shall be like unto the parable of the wise man who built his house,
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.
But, everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand . The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”
What foundation is your house built upon?
And do you know who the architect is?

Apostle Geraldine Fisher has a World-Wide-Social Media Net-Work Ministry. As a Missionary, God moved her into the Office of a Prophet, revealing to her the qualities of a True prophet, humility, humiliation, loving others, interceding in prayer, as she keeps her own life clean to accurately hear from God. Since hearing the audible voice of God calling her to ministry, she’s been called to intercede and pray for others in ministry as God speaks, instructs, directs and gives prophetic words for her to give to others. God promised He would bring her to sit and to learn before great men, all of which He did!
