Be Careful that you Don’t Speak after your Own Desires!
“Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the LORD” Jeremiah 23:16.
(I saw in the spirit, a river that flowed strong and steady from the mountains above. Then I saw someone change the course of the river. They began digging off to one side, and then the water began to flow in this new direction.)
“There are many in this hour that would presume to speak in My name. They speak words, but they come from their own manufactured minds. Does My word burn in your bones? Is it churning in there ready to be released, says the Lord?
Many have received messages from Me; but some have an agenda of their own. They then take what they have first received of Me, and then they draw their own conclusions. I would then ask of those who would speak for Me: ‘Do you have purposes of your own?’ Or have you emptied yourself of your own desires?
Consider a river that flows from high up in the mountains. It has its course set and it flows in that direction. Then that river that once flowed towards its destination, begins to flow in a new direction. It cuts through the forest, and it finds its channel in unfamiliar places. That is what happens when someone adds to my words.
Be careful that you don’t speak after your own desires. “‘

Stephen Hanson of In His Truth Ministries came to the Lord is a special way in 1975 and has been prophesying regularly since. In these end-time birthing pangs we are to be reminded that judgment must first begin with the household of God. Will we be prepared and ready?
