“The LORD Opens the Eyes of the Blind.” Mark 8:22-38

To gaze directly into the face of God like Adam and walk with Him like Adam without shame or reservation — this is our high calling.

It is staggering to our mind to contemplate such a virtuous ideal.

Nevertheless, it is God’s intent to find a body of believers in whom He can take full possession of their spirit, soul and body to accomplish His purposes on the earth.

This is the key message or mandate for this season: to allow The LORD to deal with the thrones and dominions within our soul.

These are the things within each of us that remain subject to the authority of our carnal nature that conform to the world.

These seeds of corruption that we carry were imparted into the soul of man at the Fall in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve.

I believe The LORD is saying He, “is about to open the eyes of the Blind!”

Because my friends, we are now living where the Word of Truth is coming alive within the hearts of His Believers.

It’s begins when The LORD reveals that our face is to be set like flint to achieve our heavenly mandate or high calling established for this age.

“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word [logos]of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15

As I pondered this impression given by the Spirit of God, not only will our eyes be opened, but we must have unwavering determination to meet the purposes being birthed right now.

God means for good what our enemy has set himself to work against and these our end-time purposes. Our enemy is doing all that he can to abort the destiny of this generation.

Thankfully, The LORD has made an abundance of grace in order to establish us … yes, if we will co-operate with The Holy Spirit and yield our will to The Will of The Father.

It’s easy to become weary when we look out into the world, so place yourself at the foot of Jesus.

It’s not a once done type of placement, it’s multiple times a day, depending on the day and all that is going on around us!

Remember to take deep breathes and pray without ceasing, to over come the chaos!

“So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them. Then Elisha prayed and said, “O LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” And The LORD opened the servant’s eyes, and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.” 2 Kings 6:16-17

If we are honest, we see The Holy Spirit spotlighting areas that have not yet been subjected to His Lordship. His Light searches and exposes issues residing in each of us that are not conformed with God.

When these spiritual fortresses are identified, there is always a corresponding release of grace to address the issues within our heart. When identified we are step forward to embrace the change through faith and obedience.

Throughout history there has been a spirit who sponsored plagues at various times causing great numbers of people to experience hardship and death.

The enemy has a name. He goes by Basilisk and he is the devil himself whose primary purpose is death and destruction.

This natural physical death resulting from this spirit is derived from plagues, sickness and disease, natural disasters and even terrorism.

However, The Holy Spirit has also revealed His divine strategy for defeating this foe is Repentance and steadfast faith in declaring His Word to provide a protection against this identified enemy.

Reading God’s Word is paramount. God’s Word takes us from the corruptible garden we are born under to incorruptible.

Our repentance and sanctified hearts release the divine authority necessary to defeat this enemy.

I know because it happened to me. There is no foothold when are minds are washed in the Word of our Savior.

The Scripture declares that our foot shall be placed upon the “scorpion” and the “basilisk”, not because of any strength of our own, but because of the great victory given to us through Christ Jesus.

The Church has been given authority to deal with this spirit, yet mankind perished throughout history because of a lack of knowledge concerning this enemy and the appropriate application of our Savior’s triumph over all opposition.

It’s time we become the promise given to us by God.

In Luke 10:19 , The LORD promises that He has given us authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means injure us.

“Of the pestilence that stalks in darkness or of the destruction that lays waste at noon.” Psalm 91:6

Its origin of this beast can be traced all the way back to ancient Israel. The Egyptians worshiped this spirit as “The LORD and king of serpents to awe all others, nor to be destroyed by any”.

They displayed a crowned Basilisk on the heads of their gods as observed in the Bembine table and other Egyptian monuments.

This demonstrates Satan’s attempt to elevate himself above God as an object of worship.

I feel The LORD is opening every blind eye to see… all deception must be dealt with, just in time to battle this beast who has a throne within souls who never stops planning death and destruction.

However, The LORD also has His plans and purposes so align your will with his by saying, “not My will Father — but yours in heaven!” (Luke 22:42)

Nothing could be more rewarding than to find favor with God by willingly offering ourselves as instruments of righteousness, hating what He hates and loving that which He loves.

‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares The LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future’ ” Jeremiah 29:11

This can be accomplished, at least in part, by committing ourselves faithfully to this battle both individually and corporately. Let us all be praying for the body of Christ!

R E F L E C T I O N S

My encounter of the Basilisk was in a dream. I saw a a very large sleeping dragon up close almost identical to the picture above and then its eye opened. I gasped and woke up in a start because I had awaken a sleeping beast.

Our dreams empowers God’s presence to catapult us beyond the realm of our own human reasoning to thrusts us into the Spirit life.

Years later, I discovered my Basilisk or sleeping dragon dream among other dreams expressed the deep need to be spiritually balanced.

My corruption was veiled and fear had a throne within my soul. Never allowing harmony within my soul and my spirit among The Father.

We are plainly told in The Scriptures: Light and darkness cannot coexist. I had to learn by reading Scripture to disconnect my worldly embrace or conformity and allow The Holy Spirit to guide me.

How can we expect His Holy Spirit to rest in us without His abiding presence?

His Grace is extended to enable us to be free from the strongholds and dominions of the enemy as we yield to this all-important work of refinement.

If you need deliverance, like me, find the way, take the difficult steps in your journey to love The LORD, and allow The Holy Spirit to achieve in you all that is required to live in such a blessed place.

We can love The LORD with the same love The Father had for Him only then will The Holy Spirit takes up residence in us in His fullness.

This is true deliverance…. Hallelujah!

Praise God, He is moving among His People, move with him, align yourself to abide in His Presence.

If I can do it, you can too, the old wretched woman I use to be is gone… thank you Jesus!
