Babylon is Falling!
The LORD gave me a picture of a large gorilla and I immediately thought of the movie “Gorillas in the Mist” but I asked the LORD what He was saying and He said “King Kong – go read the story”.
I found a brief synopsis of the movie which I read and God used it as the basis for the following word He gave me:
“My children are kings on this earth but they have been captivated by a woman who adorns herself as My Bride.
She dances for them and performs all types of theatrics which draws them into a delusion and causes great confusion in empty hearts.
The outward adorning of this woman has charmed them into fighting for her and trying to protect her and even giving all their energy to her.
She has overpowered the kings of this earth with her beauty and usurped their authority.
They have now been completely entrapped by her and taken into slavery. The end leads to death.”
I believe the LORD is speaking of a spiritual death that comes from serving the false bride who masquerades as the True Bride.
This understanding was given to me through a word the LORD gave to me earlier this month which is further below.
The King Kong revelation above was God confirming the word below to me, but before that He took me through an intensive study to open my understanding (all relevant scriptures are below, definitely worth studying yourself)
Note: Babylon in this word is NOT speaking of any particular nation – she sits over nations (Revelation 17:15). The LORD has revealed to me that Babylon is a kind of a ruling spirit (demonic) which is over the whole world and also the harlot (False Bride/Church). The story of Babel in Genesis provides greater revelation on the characteristics of this spirit, (Genesis 11:1-9).
A Word from the LORD:
but Truth you shun and do not believe.
but love that corrects is completely maligned.
is this a problem with you, or Me?
there is a deception feeding carnality.
it leads you to holiness, through sanctification.
and by faith you become a new creation.
then a deceiver has entered through your door;
he tells you it’s okay, continue this way
– the end is burning stubble and hay.
where the whore charms into confusion.
she’s the harlot who fills your heart with lies.
through outward beauty she deceives;
she makes you feel all good inside,
she tickles your ears and fills you with pride.
for her agreement with darkness stems the flow.
she draws My children into sexual immorality.
a consuming fire is already burning this house,
you say the world deserves judgment,
look within – the stench is repugnant.
there is nothing else you need – can’t you see?
a place of death and false security!“
“Now then, my sons, listen to me; pay attention to what I say. Do not let your heart turn to her ways or stray into her paths. Many are the victims she has brought down, her slain are a mighty throng. Her house is a highway to the grave, leading down to the chambers of death,” Proverbs 7:24-27 (NIV).
“And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication,” Revelation 17:4 (KJV).
The women (false bride) is decked with gold, precious stones and pearls which is the same as the True Bride which you will see in Revelation 21.
Proverbs 7 gives greater depth of the Harlot and Proverbs 31:10-31 which is about the virtuous women who is the True Bride.
“And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth,” Revelation 17:18 (KJV).
“And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it,” Revelation 21:24 (KJV).
Notice that Babylon reigns OVER kings and in the True Bride kings bring their glory and honor into it.
“And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues,” Revelation 18:4 (NIV).
“What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them and I will be their God, and they will be my people.“ Therefore, “Come out from them and be separate, says the LORD. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you,” 2 Corinthians 6:16-17 (NIV).
“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me,‘” John 14:6 (NIV).
“For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,” Titus 2:11-12 (NIV).
I added scriptures below for further study….
“Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; and saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me,” Matthew 4:8-9 (KJV).
“And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal,” Revelation 21:10-11 (KJV).
“But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea,” Matthew 18:6 (KJV).
“And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all,” Revelation 18:21 (KJV). Note: the New Jerusalem is also called a “great city”.
“Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience,” Ephesians 2:2 (KJV).
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places,” Ephesians 6:12 (KJV).
Ezekiel 16 is a must read as well.
Finally, let the Spirit of Truth lead you into all truth. No truth originates from the flesh of man but truth is a person – Jesus Christ.
In Him there is no fear for He is the Good Shepard and He will take care of His flock as we yield and surrender to His complete Lordship over our lives.
All Glory to my precious friend and LORD. Amen!

“you say the world deserves judgment,
look within – the stench is repugnant”
This confirms my understanding of ‘Babylon’ as the darkness, the separation from Gods who rules us from inside in our own minds not a visible country outside ourselves.
“take heed, then, lest the light
(the knowledge you think you have)
that is in thee be darkness (lack of the true knowledge) Luke 11:35
Thanks Sister Maria, really appreciate your insight. Babel/Babylon means confusion and mixture, your scripture is spot on. God Bless!
