Ask: Whose Report Will You Believe?
The change, shifting and release that sometimes needs to take place is sometimes predicated upon that man or woman who needs to obey God concerning their assignment or what He has commanded them.
Their unwillingness to obey can cause a delay, or hold up of what needs to be loosed, released or done.
On another note though, God will always raise up someone to obey Him concerning what the other failed or refused to do!
As men and women of God purposed for destiny, we should ALWAYS be obedient to do what the LORD is saying, no matter what or who may oppose or come against us.
1 Samuel 15:22 says,
“Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed than the fat of rams.”
Opposition, persecution, rejection and every fiery dart being released from the enemy, should never be able to hinder or stop what God wants to do through us.
Satan is a deceiver. He will always come at you with lies fear and doubt. If he can get you to doubt God or what God has told you to do, he will prevail over you.
But the question is, whose report will you believe?
Will you believe what God said to you, or will you believe what the enemy says to you?
Satan’s aim is to get you to doubt what you can ever be or do what God has told you to.
His aim is to make you believe he is bigger than the God living on the inside of you.
Understand that what the LORD says, is most important and is secondary to nothing and no one.
Sometimes your breakthrough in life and those of others, is dependent on your yes, or obedience to God.
Men and women of God, I need you to understand that sometimes the thing you need to overcome, succeed in, or triumph over, will often require your determination, focus, aggression and a righteous indignation.
The thing you sometimes need to do may cause offense, vexation, war and sometimes the death of another, but so be it.
If you obeying God cause problems for the kingdom of darkness, then by all means.
As people of God, that is what we are purposed to do; we cause destruction to the kingdom of hell.
Jehu, a man of God, was anointed and sent on assignment to strike down Jezebel because of her wickedness and terror towards the innocent and God’s prophets.
2 Kings 9:30-33 speaks of Jehu’s encounter with Jezebel. It says
“Now when Jehu had come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she put paint on her eyes (represents two faced, a deceiver) and adorned her head, and looked through a window, then, as Jehu entered at the gate, she said, “Is it peace, Zimri, murderer of your master?” And he looked up at the window, and said, “Who is on my side? Who?” So two or three eunuchs looked out him. Then he said, “Throw her down.” So the threw her down, and some of her blood splattered on the wall and on the horses; and he trampled her underfoot.”
You must be in full pursuit of the enemy. Never rest until you do what needs to be done.
Never allow the enemy to distract or detour you from the real assignment and the real problem.
Be positioned that nothing and no one can move you from the place you stand.
Men and women of God, even though we are not physically wrestling with the enemy understand that what your assignment requires your aggression, focus determination and a righteous indignation.
Refuse to allow anything and anyone sent by the enemy to waste your time or distract you.
Fast, pray, read and meditate on the word of God, praise and worship. The enemy can never take out a man or woman who is grounded and aligned with the will of God.
The will of God is where you are hidden and the enemy is never welcome there. To overthrow and overcome the enemy we must constantly be in His presence and in tuned with the Holy Spirit.
We must hear from God directly.
The word of God says, “It is not by might nor by power but by His Spirit.”
The enemy is strategic, but our God is greater than the enemy. He has the answer to what you need to overthrow and conquer who and what has been conquering you.
Continue to pray that the LORD will raise up bold, anointed, righteous and holy men and women of God who will not live or operate in fear but will obey God regardless of what and who they face or opposes them.
