Dear Friends,

I am amazed and deeply spoken to when I read these verses below.

All expressing the deep heartfelt intensity of these prayers, which The LORD cried out when He was in His human body on earth.

What intensity compared to our often heartless and plane prayer life.

If this is the recorded example of the prayers of our LORD, who although He was the Creator and all powerful only begotten Son of His Father and yet had to pray in this way to get through to victory – how much more should we steel ourselves not to give up by earnestly crying out to God till victory is ours.

“Then they came to a place which was named Gethsemane; and He said to His disciples, “Sit here while I pray.”
And He took Peter, James, and John with Him, and He began to be troubled and deeply distressed.
Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch.”
He went a little farther, and fell on the ground, and prayed that if it were possible, the hour might pass from Him. And He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.”
Then He came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “Simon, are you sleeping? Could you not watch one hour? Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
Again He went away and prayed, and spoke the same words. And when He returned, He found them asleep again, for their eyes were heavy; and they did not know what to answer Him.
Then He came the third time and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? It is enough! The hour has come; behold, the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners. Rise, let us be going. See, My betrayer is at hand,”“ Mark 14:32-42.

“When He came to the place, He said to them, “Pray that you may not enter into temptation.”
And He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and prayed, saying, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.”
Then an angel appeared to Him from heaven, strengthening Him. And being in agony, He prayed more earnestly. Then His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
When He rose up from prayer, and had come to His disciples, He found them sleeping from sorrow. Then He said to them, “Why do you sleep? Rise and pray, lest you enter into temptation,”” Luke 22:40-46.

“So also Christ did not glorify Himself to become High Priest, but it was He who said to Him: “You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.”
As He also says in another place: “You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek”; who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His godly fear, though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered,” Hebrews 5:5-8.

When I see and hear how many of God’s servants and children are being attacked in these days in health, finances, family members and other ways, I believe this example of our LORD and Shepherd is a call to all of us to persevere in faith and in fervent prayers till like as it was with Job, God’s servant when finally he broke through to a new and abundant period of blessing.

May this also happen to us, I pray.

As hell is arranged against President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. We especially need to stand fervently in the gap for these two crucial leaders.

May God also through our continued prayers protect and keep them on His way.

We are so thankful that the recent attack on Netanyahu’s position and government did not prevail to bring his government down.

May the same happen in spite of all the present vicious attacks by the Evil One on Donald Trump.

And for those friends and fellow believers who desire to stand with us and undergird us, I enclose a letter from a very good friend spiritual sensitive woman.
