Are You Truly Saved and Are You Sure?
Think with me about the story of Nicodemus found in John 3, where Jesus told him that his religion — even though it was that he was a Pharisee of the Jewish faith — was not enough to save him.
Jesus said the “Practicing of religion” would not save Nicodemus.
What do you think?
Do you think the very Words of Jesus Christ are true?
Do you think then that if Jesus told Nicodemus that “his religion” was not enough to save him, that somehow today all these years later, that Jesus has changed his mind about how to be “Saved“?
Do you now thank that suddenly — after all these years — that you can be saved by being religious?
Let us see what Jesus said to Nicodemus that he would have to do to be “Saved“.
In reading John 3 consider the phrase: “You must be born again……”
“There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: the same came to Jesus by night, and said unto Him, “Rabbi, we know that Thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him?”
Jesus answered and said unto him, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see The Kingdom of God.”
Nicodemus saith unto him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?”
Jesus answered, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of The Spirit, he cannot enter into The Kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of The Spirit is spirit.
Marvel not that I said unto thee, ye must be born again.
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the spirit.”
Nicodemus answered and said unto Him, “How can these things be?”
Jesus answered and said unto him, “Art thou a Master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, we speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?” ” John 3:1-12.
Yet many men who even preach in pulpits or profess to be men of God say:
“You have to keep The Law to be saved.” Do they not know that keeping The Law is….. religious works?
Not long ago a preacher right here in Belen, New Mexico said that you “could never be saved unless you kept The Law and did the right works!”
So what say ye?
Do you believe one can be saved without being born again? And that “Religious works” can actually save you?
A serious Conclusion and Warning:
If you are only religious and working to do good etc, it is most serious to know that you cannot be saved unless you are born-again.
And, if you are not born-again of The Holy Spirit — which is God… for Salvation is of The LORD not man — you could yet die without Christ!
If you die without Christ [even though you are religious and believe in God]…….. you could go to hell forever!
Warning: YOU must be born-again!
Do you know you are born again? Serious thought.
Be sure!
Seek him and ask him to save you by His Grace.
He died for your sins, raised from the grave, and has did all for you.
Now ask Him to “Save” you. Believe in Jesus Christ by receiving Him……Then you can say “I am born-again”

I have posted this teaching and Warning Word in obedience to my Holy Spirit teacher.
LORD, bring the power of the convicting of The Holy Spirit upon anyone who is only “Religious” today and help them be born again.
