Are YOU In Order?
There will be times, if you have sincerely and honestly offered yourself to God as a vessel, that the Holy Ghost can move through, that you will face some tough assignments.
Most of us know, that the LORD does not only speak of prosperity and nice things. We are humans and far from perfect.
Common sense tells us, that a diet of only sweets, is not good for us. We sometimes have to eat things we may not particularly like; in the physical sense. It is much the same for our spiritual body also.
Several folk striving to minister the things God has spoken to their heart for this place, are often mentioning something.
It’s about how it really is, when you have to speak about the tough issues.
It’s no wonder so many have sold out to talking about only those things that are nice, uplifting self and yes, tickling ears. We want people to like us.
The Spirit never intended for us to have such a hard shell that we didn’t like compliments, a voice of humility and a hand shake once in awhile.
Yes, He will give us boldness and cause our resolve to be as flint must be.
But yet, you cannot minister even the hardest of things, and not manifest the fruit of the Spirit.
That is where many may have gone wrong all down the line. The Spirit does offer correction and yes, He can be offended and grieved.
At the same time, the LORD never asked people to live for Him, because they were kept in fear or always threatened with eternal damnation.
God truly wants people to love Him, because they want to; they choose to.
It’s apparent, that Job did not stop loving God, even with all of the terrible things he went through. And God knew he wouldn’t.
I wish to say here again, that I am nothing. I don’t claim to be anything at all; no position and no title.
It’s not that I think so little of myself, it’s because I love Him, and I know what I am on my own.
Been there, and done that and I failed so miserably…..
It is not so hard to get puffed up and hunger for men’s good words and lose our true focus. That’s why I have no problem today in declaring that the LORD, chastens those He loves.
Believe it or not, we need somebody to keep us in line. Human is human.
“First of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.” 1 Corinthians 11:18.
In another place he called it “contentions.”
This next verse is perhaps the crux of this message.
“For there must be heresies among you.” 1 Corinthians 11:19a.
I think we all agree that Paul was speaking to the church here.
This won’t sit well with many of us, because we may have not been taught some things in depth.
For those of us who have lived a good while, it makes a lot of sense today. Because we thought it shouldn’t be, did not mean some things didn’t exist.
Why? The next few words explain that.
“That they which are approved, may be manifested.” 1 Corinthians 11:19b.
Many of us are going to have to take a stand; even now. We know many things called church today, are neither about God or the Spirit.
Those who have the true anointing and word of God in them, will take their places and begin operating in the Spirit.
God has always had a plan. He has always kept a remnant; no matter the times or place.
Many will fully realize what the true move of the Spirit really is, and who is in that remnant.
Many who are asleep, will wake up.
