Are YOU Hearing Me?
Are you discontented?
If you are discontented, you are not hearing Me.
Discontent builds a wall between you and Me. Discontent says you aren’t happy with the way things are going in your life, and in many ways you are probably blaming Me.
After all, I’m the One who is omnipresent (everywhere all the time) and omniscient (know everything). So it must be My fault that you are discontented, because you have to blame someone and better Me than you, right? Does that sound like you?
By your complaining, murmuring, whining, pouting, judging others, lashing out at others (usually those you love the most), etc., you are building the wall higher and higher and making it harder and harder on yourself.
Oh, I see, that is just the normal you. You have accepted it as part of yourself and you don’t want to change it, because change involves doing things differently or forgiving or repenting or self-examination or deliverance and you like yourself the way you are.
If that is the case, then you have allowed the spirit of discontent and its friends, who at this time, view you as its/their “Best Friend” to con you, into believing the lie that it/they are telling you, that you don’t need to get rid of it/them, because it/them isn’t hurting anyone, much less you.
Reminder, if this discontent is with yourself or someone else, because they aren’t meeting your expectations, or they aren’t perfect, or you want vengeance, then it may be generational, if it has been in past members of your family, maybe up to four generations or more back.
So, if it is generational, then you are passing that discontent and the spirits with it onto your children, grandchildren and beyond up to four generations or more.
But, it/they told you they weren’t hurting anyone, remember?
What are the bricks in your wall of discontent? Walls of discontent contain many bricks, but among them may be the following spirits disguised as bricks: perfectionism with its friends insecurity, pride, and fear; anger, bitterness, and unforgiveness; depression, hopelessness, despair; rebellion, opposition, and defiance; addictions of alcohol, smoking, drugs, etc with its friends bondage, and witchcraft; sadness, grief, and sorrow; oppression, condemnation, accusation and judgment; perversion, lies, and deceit; abuse, incest, and rape; suicide, murder, death and destruction; manipulation, control and witchcraft; deaf and dumb, religion, and confusion; vengeance, hate, and judgment; infirmity, sickness, and disease; intellectualism, pride, and offense; and others.
So what do you do about it?
Instead of complaining, murmuring, whining, pouting, judging others, lashing out at others (usually those you love the most), etc., praise and worship Me. Play worship music 24/7 (if possible) so it begins to integrate or blend into your spirit to lift it up to Me. Either CDs, DVD, or the radio works, as well as singing it yourself.
Personally, when you sing, is when I like it the best, because then I hear your heart for Me. Remember, I love how everyone sings, regardless of how you feel about your singing. I don’t care if you think that you can or can’t sing. What I care about is that you honor Me, through your worship. To Me, you are the best worshiper and singer in the room, when you give Me your heart in it and ask for My heart.
Thank Me for where you are at and how I AM going to help you change and grow above all that currently surrounds you.
Pray that you learn the lessons from your test this time, so that you do not have to repeat it another time. For, you will not go forward until you have passed the test. – You will continue on the merry-go-round over and over, repeating, each time getting harder if you don’t pass it.
The test will continue to get harder each time, because I’m trying to get it through your hard head, so that you understand what is really important for you to know. If you don’t learn the lessons now, how will you succeed in the days ahead? A team is only as great as its weakest link. No one needs to be a weak link in the days ahead.
So instead of digging yourself into a deeper hole, worship your way out of it and ask Me what you can do to destroy the wall you have built between you and Me, through your attitude, behavior, words, and disobedience to Me and others.
When you are obedient to what I tell you to do, you will begin to move forward and destroy the wall between us, because while the wall of discontent is up, you are not hearing Me. You are listening to the lies of the enemy and your own heart, not Mine, that are trying to destroy you. Which is not part of My plan for you.
Ask Me to change your heart. Remember David’s prayer in Psalm 51? I love that prayer, for David gives his heart to Me, asking Me to examine his heart and make it more like Mine.
He has recognized that he has sinned, and is willing to take whatever punishment I will dish out to him. He has humbled himself before me. Yes, this was when Nathan, My Prophet, confronted him about sinning with Bathsheba, but sin is sin.
You saw that on the cross, when Jesus told the thief his sin was no worse than any other. You are no better than the thief on the cross, and need to recognize it, before it is too late. Is it any wonder that I said that David was a man after My own heart, despite his murder and affair and other things he did, that weren’t like Me? If I love David that much, don’t you know I love you too?
Learn to love others for what I see in them. Ask for My eyes to see them, so that you will begin see them without the flaws of mankind.
Pray even for your enemies, through blessing them, so that you too will be blessed. For cursing others, only brings curses on yourself. Oftentimes it is your expectations of others that holds you back. As you pray blessings on others, pray that I will make you more like Me, through changing you into a new creature in Christ.
Seek inner healing and deliverance through Me and others that I use. I want you to change and grow into what I am calling you to become. Don’t you want this for yourself as well?
Use your authority to call forth the prophetic Words that I have spoken over you and to cancel anything spoken that wasn’t Me. Know I say this to protect you, as there are those who walk in divination who would prophesy your heart to you, to make you feel good.
You want what is Me, not you. Fill the prayer bowls in heaven (Revelation 5:8) with My heart’s desire for you, so that when full they can be poured out over you to fulfill your destiny in Me.
Get rid of discontent, so you can come back to be a part of My Team, not your individual team. Worship Me and honor Me, as I have called you to do.
Love, Abba
