A true Spiritual Father
A true Spiritual Father lays down His life for His spiritual children and travails till Christ is formed in them, and gives them personal mentoring and supports what they are doing. Their authority is recognized.
The fleshed-out, ego-filled, wannabe, wants you to do their praying for them, and demands that you submit to them, and tithe from your ministry and personal income to them.
Which one has the Fathers heart?
Money – Then and Now
In the first century, fortunes were laid at the feet of servants of God and distribution was made to the needs of the saints. In this modern age, fortunes are laid at ministers feet and it is distributed to meet many of the ministers greeds.
Is it any wonder we don’t yet carry the power and glory they carried?
“Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold, And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.
And Joses, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas, (which is, being interpreted, The son of consolation,) a Levite, and of the country of Cyprus, Having land, sold it, and brought the money, and laid it at the apostles feet,” Act 4:34-37.
Are we a House of Prayer?
We Need to ask ourselves this question: Are we a House of Prayer? Or a den of thieves in our Churches and Ministries?
Would a sinner visiting our meetings say, “That’s a Praying People”? Or would they say they are always trying to sell me something and get my money, when they come into our midst?
“Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people,” Isaiah 56:7.
“And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves,” Mark 11:17.
Are YOU following wrong Prophets?
Saints, make sure those you receive as Prophets, carry a strong mantle of Prayer and Intercession, or you may be following the wrong Prophets,
“But if they be prophets, and if the word of the LORD be with them, let them now make intercession to the LORD of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the LORD, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, go not to Babylon,” Jeremiah 27:18.
