I was meditating in The Lord and I heard God say: “Called or Appointed!”

I hear God saying that everybody who is saying God called them, He did not! You see, many are called, but only a few will be chosen in this season! (Matthew 22:14). Many folks who are saying God called them, are not walking in the anointing and the power of God in this season!

You see, many folks are like the children of Israel who have taken it upon themselves to appoint themselves as a king; instead of waiting upon God to make the call!

When God makes the call, He does not appoint folks simply because they are family, friend, siblings etc. But when God called you, he predestined those whom He also called: and whom He called, He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified (Romans 8:30).

I heard God saying that when He calls you, the first thing that He will work on is your (sets you apart) character (fruits of the spirit etc)! You see, God is not concerned about your good looks, your education, your economic status; but He calls those whom He himself wants to build up from the floor up, for the work; just as He did king David!

Not like those who are being appointed (by man) and not anointed (god) for the up building of the Kingdom! You see, all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together (took it upon themselves), and came to Samuel unto Ramah, and said unto him, behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations. But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said; give us a king to judge us (they wanted to appoint). And Samuel prayed unto The Lord. Just as Samuel acknowledged God, so must you in this season!

Whenever a person is appointed for a leadership position, God is the one who makes the call; not man! This is why Samuel was so upset was because the elders wanted to place (appoint) an earthly king in this position like other nations; instead of waiting on God to do it!

But, The Lord said unto Samuel, hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them. When you don’t accept what the prophets and or the person whom God sends to you: you are not rejecting man; but God!

You see, many times when we keep on asking God for things we don’t need, God will grant them in order to teach us a lesson!

You see, I hear God saying that many folks we place in positions, are not saved, are not faithful to God, and they are absent of the fruits of the spirit in their lives; just as Samuel’s sons were and Saul was; but we still place them in office even, though they are not worthy, saith The Lord!

God will many time grant things we have prayed for, in order to teach us a valuable and costly lesson such as: that new husband, that new wife, that position in the church, that job, that new house that He has told you that you do not need, but you want and got anyhow, without acknowledging him, first etc.

I hear God saying it is your responsibility (saints) to acknowledge God and to allow Him to direct your path in all things!

In this season, God is calling for His people to walk in His destiny; the destiny that He himself has prepared for them and not what you yourself want or desire! (flesh) God told Samuel to hearken unto their voice (give the people what they want): howbeit yet protest solemnly (tell them the consequences of having it; going against god) unto them, and shew them the manner of the king that shall reign over them?

Yes, I hear God saying that He will always send you a witness, telling you what not to do, or what to do, when making decisions based upon your life! (2 Corinthians 13:1) But you must have an ear to hear what the Spirit is saying to both you and the Church in this season!

Be still and hear what God is saying unto you and the Church in this season; don’t be hasty saith The Lord to make decisions that are not in the will of God in this season! Unless you miss God!

So, Samuel told all the words of The Lord unto the people who asked of him a king. And he said this will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you: he will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall run before his chariots. And he will appoint him captains over thousands, and captains over fifties; and will set them to ear his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of war, and instruments of his chariots. And he will take your daughters to be confectionaries, and to be cooks, and to be bakers. And he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your olive yards, even the best of them, and give them to his servants.

My God my God, I hear God saying that it is time to seek The Lord! What is God saying to you on today? Is He saying to go? Or is he saying to withdraw?

You must have an ear to hear in this season, because many are called; but only a few will be chosen in this season, saith The Lord!

Wait on God. Don’t be in a hurry to get a husband, a position, a job, etc. and other things that God is saying – NO to, in this season!

Every good and perfect gift comes from above! When God does it, you don’t have to worry about any after affects of receiving what God has for you in this season, saith The Lord.

Nevertheless, the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, nay; but we will have a king over us; what are you refusing to do that God is saying for you to do, in this season?
