Are You A Skilled Surgeon?
The LORD gave me a picture of a surgeon engaged in open heart surgery. He then asked me if I would interrupt the skilled surgeon to tell him how he should go about doing his work?
Holy Spirit then impressed the following in my spirit:
“Many of My children have deep wounds that require a skilled hand to bring them into wholeness. These who are hurting will often do things which go against what you may consider reasonable because of the wounds which are still raw.
They fear been hurt even more and the behavior they display is the result of them trying to protect the raw wound.
When you try and use your own mind to help them you will often come across to them as been judgmental. Many times you ARE judgmental, and oftentimes you will use My Word to justify why you are right and they are wrong.
This does not help them find healing, but adds to their pain. A Word given without the fruit of My Spirit is your word and not My Word.
Love is patient, Love is kind even when you cannot empathize with another.
I understand exactly where they are and what they need, for I AM the skilled surgeon who will bring them into wholeness.
When you act outside of my Love you hinder and even destroy what I AM doing in these little ones that belong to Me.
A harsh word stirs up anger, but a gentle word will turn away wrath. Coming into My perfect love that casts out fear, is a process and each one is in a different place in the process.
If you are not equipped to counsel My little ones, ask Me who is and I will show you.
In your eagerness to serve, you will want to help, but DO NOT try and take the scalpel from My Hand, but rather pray and ask for wisdom on how to proceed.
I will work it all out for the good, if you are willing to be sensitive to My leading.
Understand your gifting and do not discount the gifting of another, for I have positioned many in My body who are equipped to show mercy to the broken.
For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.”
“For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others,” Romans 12:3-5 (NIV).
