Are Things Hung Up In Your Life?
Many of us cut our spiritual eye-teeth on faith teaching in what many jokingly called ‘Copelandhagen,’ a healthy dose of faith and its vital connection to walking a victorious life.
While this writing does nothing to disagree with the basic tenants of faith (teaching), it does, perhaps, launch a new piece in understanding how faith works.
Once we understand that faith is a substance and has capacity to produce out of thin air; and further is the vital aspect of launching us into the supernatural existence we are called to walk in.
We’ll endeavor no further in reintegrating all the wonderful teachings on faith in this writing, but hopefully add a layer to your arsenal of equipment needed for success.
Let us begin this teaching by stating an all important scripture – “Faith without works is dead.”
Faith most often requires a corresponding action, something acted upon that initiates the working of faith. In moving toward understanding, it is most important to know that we were appointed before the foundation of the earth to ‘attend’ to good works prepared ‘beforehand’ for us to attend to (Ephesians 2:10).
Understanding that God made you with a specific purpose in mind is key to operating your faith; and when you find that purpose by the internal witness of the spirit, your faith will soar knowing God did not make you for war – He made you for victory!
When your vision and God’s purpose come together faith ignites. Why? Because vision is the ultimate motivator.
In opening this up, we often find that faith is often not the issue is obtaining God’s greatest favor and blessing in God; the issue is fullness.
Fullness must accompany faith: To walk in fullness we must link the very word with faith.
The two in combination spell FAITHFULNESS. The two are inextricably linked; one cannot work without the other.
Faithfulness is the cornerstone of promotion in any God-appointed, Kingdom event. We have learned that it is the little foxes that eat the vine (Solomon 2:15).
Faithfulness over little things, over what is another man’s is key to fullness in your life (Luke 16:10-12).
Faithfulness is a promotion word in biblical speak – a key to advancing with the advancing Kingdom.
Fullness is obedience to little things. If you ‘attend’ to little things God will give you the BIG things. If you don’t, He won’t – (Isaiah 1:19-20).
What are little things that can hold up big things?
Mow the grass, take your wife to the beach, polish your shoes, call your customers, work a few hours on your day off. Little things are holding up big things right now!
Many years ago Arthur Burt, a true Apostle from Wales was in the United States ministering in Macon. He called me in Hinesville two hours away with a word from God, asking me to come to Macon to his hotel room before he spoke that night.
I rushed off with great expectation of some ‘life-changing’ magnanimous word. I entered his room very excited. Arthur lay resting on his bed announcing upon my arrival that he had a ‘word’ from God.
As I neared this almost 100 year old man, he ask that I sit. As I did he said, “God is the God of inconvenience; you can go now.” I was stunned!
And thought this word meant little to me at the time, it has since changed my life, as the little things requiring much in the area of ‘faithfulness’ are often inconvenient.
God is the God of inconvenience – He will check your level of obedience and when He finds you faithful, BIG things will flow into your life.
Put your heart, mind, and soul into even your smallest acts. This is the secret of success.
