Apostolic Perspectives
The call to be “an apostle” bears no ministry within itself.
Many are confused to assume that an apostle:
- Has to preach a certain way,
- Has to be more powerful in his presentation,
- Has to carry a higher degree of Anointing than others.
- Is superior in his ranking and calling to others.
Others believe that in establishing “churches” they are “apostles”.
The truth is that apostles are sent to:
- Establish Revelation in the hearts of people,
- Pioneer the Kingdom in the hearts of men and women.
The only thing the “apostolic” refers to is that God has called and authorized and empowered someone, on a specific mission to pioneer a new move of the Spirit and to establish that new move, whether in Revelation or reformation in the hearts of people everywhere.
Being apostolic, in essence means that you are a missionary sent from God on a mission by God, that He wants to see accomplished through you.
You are a “sent one” a “special messenger”, who has something new and special to introduce and to pioneer in the hearts of people.
Your ministry or personality has little to do with being such a “sent one”.
You may be functioning in a strong prophetic ministry, and be called on an apostolic journey and function to pioneer new Kingdom Truths to be established in the hearts of people, or you may be a gentle teacher also.
You may have a bold personality, or be as gentle as a dove. It makes no difference.
The apostolic speaks of a mission, not a ministry or a personality. Those who are called as apostles are already functioning in their respective ministries and have been developed therein within the confines of their relationship and intimacy with God.
True apostles of God have already been developed and matured in ministry, before being chosen and commissioned by God to carry something new to the distant shores of man’s hearts and to establish new Kingdom Truth and Revelation in the hearts of men everywhere.
So, if you are an apostle, what is your commission? What do you carry that is authentic and life changing from God that is new and that God has called you to share with us and to establish within our hearts?

Simple truth deflaits the pride of men.
Last year the Holy Spirit revealed to me that the five-fold ministry isn’t a list of positions, but is a military strategy we are to use to infiltrate, occupy, train new recruits, and as Holy Spirit appoints – send out: apostles, prophets, teachers, evangelists, and pastors.
Yes..Yes..to military strategy. Appreciate your insight.
