The Church’s Strategy of Wanting to be Right
You have a right to disagree, but you do not have a right, not to show love!
Yesterday, I was meditating upon the LORD regarding deleting, blocking and unfriending those in social media and the LORD showed me something unique!
He revealed to me that Jesus didn’t have the option of using this type of technology when the Scribes and Pharisees argued with him and even went as far as trying to entrap him to make him look stupid!
Many times he didn’t even say a word, demonstrating His self discipline and His maturity in trying to yet help those whom he knew meant Him absolutely no good!
The LORD spoke to me, that if the Church is never challenged regarding their faith, how will people ever know what is right or wrong?
Or how can it continue to show accountability, and judge that which is right or wrong?
Oh, I know their are some we may have to excommunicate out of the church and even on our social media pages, but if we as the church are not careful and prayerful, we may just be giving up on somebody who really means us no harm, but truly wants the truth, or may be wanting an answer regarding what we post, teach or preach!
Therefore they are not out to destroy (disobey) us, or to make us look bad by challenging us, but to bring understanding and enlightenment; rather than, causing the body of Christ to put up there defenses to guard themselves from spiritual attacks!
The LORD showed me that pride, the need to be right, and never being challenged or embarrassed, can cause a soul to be lost!
Jesus said, “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves. Be ye therefore wise as serpents and harmless as doves,” Matthew 10:16.
Jesus was a man of humility, compassion and long suffering with both the world and the church when it came to soul winning.
In order to be like Him and the disciples we must say, “Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for GOD IS LOVE. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his ONLY begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. (Take on His character)
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins,” 1 John 4:7-10.
Could it be that the LORD is saying that it is okay to have questions and to disagree, but the main thing is that we do it in a spirit of love as Christ and the disciples did.
Yes, wisdom is the principle thing. But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain, (Titus 3:9).
Because, clearly it brings on nothing but more strife and division!
“For, the LORD GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: (those that are weak in the faith: those on a different level than you might be and have not come into the knowledge of God’s truth!) he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned,” Isaiah 50:4.
“For, I believe that the LORD is saying that As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, ESPECIALLY unto them who are of the household of faith,” Galatians 6:10.
“For, If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. But if he DOES NOT LISTEN, take one or two others along with you, that every charge may be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses. And, If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector,” Matthew 18: 15-17, ESV.
Help us LORD Jesus! Jesus ran into many people that he truly tried to help; some he did and some he did not!
So, what did he do? Many times he went on to another town to help those that did want his help, other times he held his peace and other times he took out the whip and drove some out the temple!
Separation ~ Following Peace
People, the LORD is saying that it is so important to follow peace even if it means to separate until the LORD can bring both peace and unity as he did with Moses and the Children of Israel when their was a dispute or a disagreement among the people!
For, Scripture says, “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the LORD: without which no man shall see the LORD: looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.” Hebrews 12:14-16.
You see, after some days Paul said to Barnabas, “Let us return and visit the brethren in every city in which we proclaimed the word of the LORD, and see how they are.”
Barnabas wanted to take John, called Mark, along with them also. But Paul kept insisting that they should not take him along who had deserted them in Pamphylia and had not gone with them to the work. Was this unforgiveness? Of course not, but a lack of trust!
And there occurred such a sharp disagreement that they separated from one another, and Barnabas took Mark with him and sailed away to Cyprus. But Paul chose Silas and left, being COMMITTED by the brethren to the grace of the LORD, (Acts 15:36-40).
Wisdom is justified of her children.
For, the scriptures says, “Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her. She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee,” (Proverbs 4:5-9).
I thank God for showing me that it is time for the church to begin to rethink it’s strategy of wanting to be right, fearing to be challenged, worried about being embarrassed, shutting out others who may only want to understand; rather than, those causing division but who lack divine wisdom!
Apostolic and Prophetic Keys
Apostolic and prophetic keys are given by the authority of Jesus.
Are you entertaining and performing or are you the real thing?
Many times God gives us a gift to prepare us for office, then comes the training; as well as the keys to walk in that office!
He knows then He can entrust us to obey Him and to follow His commands!
He knows that we will not follow or speak our own ways, but the ways of God!
He knows we will be a conduit for Him and that those to whom he passes these keys to, will decree and declare His will in the heart of the earth!
Like Jeremiah, they will build, plant, tear down and destroy whatever God says to do. They will not back down or back up!
There are many in preparation, but only a few will be chosen to declare the Father’s heart on the earth!
Those who do, must be thoroughly proven by the Father before they are given the okay to come out of isolation!
God said to me that many are in isolation because they are still in the preparation and training stages, so that when they are chosen, they will be ready to walk in power demonstrations and the authority of the LORD!
They will be more than just a mouthpiece or a gift, but they will decree a thing in the heavens and it will manifest on the earth!
I thank God, because many are called but only a few will be chosen in this season!
So many are operating in the gifting, but they do not demonstrate or manifest the authority of God, and without this key, they never will!
“And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open. And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father’s house,” Isaiah 22:22-23 KJV.
What are you decreeing and declaring? Is it fear, chaos, anxiety or does it bring about solutions and transformation to up-build the body of Christ?
