Answer the King’s Call!

Today Is That Day!
You have come forth out of the ashes into the realm of your King! The scepter of favor is stretched out over you for such a time as this.
The LORD is saying, “Today is the day of approaching my throne room! My scepter is ready for those coming to see my favor for they shall see the things they thought was hanging in the balance right at the brink of death row brought back to life.
Today is that day!”
Now Will I Praise The LORD!
Leah was not the fairest to look upon. As for every hurtful remark, I am sure her sister Rachel would receive praise for her beauty.
Surely none thought she would marry until her father Laban conned Jacob into marrying her, only to think it was Rachel whom he labored for.
I guess you could say that Laban cut him a two for the price of one in this deal, however it did not work well for any involved. Leah was unloved by her husband and felt as an outcast in her own marriage.
She then conceived, feeling that now her husband would love her. She gives birth to Reuben which means “I’m seen!” Then she has Simeon which means “I’m heard!”
Then she has Levi which means “I’m attached!” Surely she thought by these children that she would finally be seen, heard, and he would cleave to her. Sadly it never happened!
Oh but then she gives birth to another son that she names Judah, which means “Praise,” for this time she is going to Praise the LORD!
It was at that moment she got her life back!
All the ones who used and abused her just fell away. She stopped looking to her husband and her eyes was now fixed upon God.
Leah the outsider, Leah the rejected, grabbed hold with her faith and got her life back from those who tried to ruin it. For you see, the LORD saw Leah not being loved and He came to her. He showed this wife her Heavenly Bridegroom.
So now I am talking to all the Leah’s! I am talking,
- to those who are feeling the sting of rejection.
- to those who feel betrayed by people you love.
- to those striving to fit in, but you are so different that it never works for you.
- to those so desperate to be accepted and feel loved whether by a spouse or someone close to you.
Hear these words I am about to tell you and let them put a rise in your spirit.
God sees! He has most definitely heard you, and He is so attached to you.
He loves you more than anyone and has set you apart. Look at Leah! She got her life back. She didn’t have to sit in tears. She didn’t have to be vengeful or angry.
For now, she was going to praise the LORD!

Because Joab would not come when Absalom sent for him, Absalom then told his servants to set his barley fields on fire.
He knew that would get his attention!
I believe everyone has that spiritual barley field! So let me say this, I don’t know where your barley field is, but God does! If it needs burned, he would know just how to do it.
So if God is calling you to something or you been on the run, don’t refuse his call.
Jonah learned that lesson the hard way. God has a way of getting your attention and when he sets those barley fields on fire, well no one can put them out.
You will surely say, “God has set my fields on fire!”
