Anger — Just what Does a Torrent of Angry Words Do? (Continued)
It does much damage and no good for sure!
Are we all guilty as Christians? Most of us are or have been at times.
Still we can’t make excuses for ourselves.
“Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.” Psalm 19:14
Good morning.
Oh the matchless love of God and who can know it? His infinite wisdom and mercy we don’t deserve.
“The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.” Psalm 103:8
Still The LORD abided faithful to even try to keep us as Christians, from falling into ‘traps’ of the enemy.
My Bible app gave me a scripture for today’s meditation.
It put me to thinking and ‘cross referencing’ different scriptures on this subject of ‘anger’.
Why don’t we do it God’s way? Let us take heed to our ways.
“A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.” Proverbs 15:1
I dedicate this song today to Gabrielle Fuehrer who I believe is a true Psalmist. She writes her poems and blesses us here with them on HKP.
This today will be short (comparatively) to some other articles I’ve written… 😊
I will close with these Scriptures.
My prayer is all of us to come closer to The LORD and let Him help and keep our tongues and mouth. This goes out to me first, as always.
God bless you all.
“Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.” Psalm 37:8
“He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.” Proverbs 14:29
“For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.” James 1:20
“Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath,” Ephesians 4:26
“Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath,” James 1:19
“Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice,” Ephesians 4:31
“The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression.” Proverbs 19:11
“Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.” Ecclesiastes 7:9
“Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath,” James 1:19-20 (Read More…)
“A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards.” Proverbs 29:11
“He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.” Proverbs 16:32
“Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath,” Ephesians 4:26-27 (Read More…)
“A wrathful man stirreth up strife: but he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife,” Proverbs 15:18

If you open, you will see my ‘mantle clock‘ picture that was used for illustration.
Here is an excerpt:
“Each one of us as Christians have fallen short of The LORD’s Glory. I certainly have.
That being said we need to strive for perfection in this area, although.
If we let only good words proceed out of our mouth, then we are blessed and will avoid many pitfalls. Lord help us all.
“Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.” Psalm 19:14
People over the years at times have even gotten angry at me for taking up for the one guilty in a matter. Still that was never my intention!
We can get misunderstood in motive. What I was trying to do was put a ‘balance’ on things.
We need to look further than on the surface. We are to judge ‘righteous judgement’. The LORD knows the hearts of man.
Then if it needs correction so be it and it should be applied in a spirit of love only.
“Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath,” James 1:19
Still of course we are to hate the sin and the wrong a person may cause.
Just never, ever hate the sinner for whom Christ died! What does The Word of God say?
“For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment,” James 2:13
We all who Name the Name of Christ must learn to keep a matter and not repeat it.
The Bible speaks plainly that:
“He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends,” Proverbs 17:9
When are we going to wise up, confess up and get it right in the Church? (Note, I am talking here about in The Body of Christ, not a building.)”
Closing with this one final scripture and thought for today:
“Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.” Proverbs 10:12
It’s Time to get things right for All of us!
God bless you all.
