An Invitation To The Thirsty: A Prayer of Thanksgiving
A Psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
An Invitation To The Thirsty: A Prayer of Thanksgiving
Thank you Father for this day
Even though the sky overhead is grey
In my heart, Your Love is anchored to stay
Making clouds part
And Your Son shine all day
Thank you Father for this day
Even though I have no money
I come to you hungry and thirsty
I hear Your Voice inviting me:
“Come, buy and eat!
Come, buy wine and milk
Without money and without cost.”
Oh come all you who are thirsty
Come to the waters
Blessed are those who hunger
And thirst for righteousness,
For they will be filled
To overflowing with His Blessings
Thank you Father for this day
Even though we go through trials and testings
You have blessed us with good things
Our salt and light shine brightly before the world
Witness and testimony of Your Glory:
“Why spend money on what is not bread,
And your labor on what does not matter?
Listen, listen to Me and eat what is good
And you will delight in the richest of fare
Give ear and come to Me:
Listen, that you may live.”
Oh come all you who are thirsty
Come to the waters
Blessed are those who hunger
And thirst for righteousness,
For they will be filled
To overflowing with His Blessings
Oh proclaim the Joy of The LORD as your strength
He quenches your thirst and hunger
Give Him prayers of Thanksgiving everlasting!
With a heart full of love,
He is Faithful and True
Oh come all you who are thirsty
Come to the waters
Blessed are those who hunger
And thirst for righteousness,
For they will be filled
To overflowing with His Blessings
Oh come all you who are thirsty and hungry
Let Him give you Eternal Life:
Wine and milk without money
And without cost —
Overflowing with His Blessings!
Oh overflowing with His Blessings!
Amen!
“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations,” Psalm 100:4-5.
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled,” Matthew 5:6.
“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven,” Matthew 5:13-16.
“Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price. Why do you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance. Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you — The sure mercies of David,” Isaiah 55:1-3.

“Let everything that has breath praise The LORD.” Psalm 150:6.
