  1. Veronika:

What you’ve written is what’s been in my spirit lately, i.e. ‘the sons of Jacob’, ‘Anerica’s last final quest’ and ‘its more about The Church and God’.

In my writings and ‘phone and emails’ with friends, even christian in ministry the last year or so, the most frustration I have felt has not been with those who could care less or who aren’t saved, it’s been w/ believer friends who are stuck in the quagmire of pacifity.

“God’s will is sovereign” -they say (and of course it is), but they use it as an excuse not to take a stand for righteousness.

I’ve had others tell me “I’m not political – I’m a citizen of heaven”. Well of course we are – but your physical body is here on earth, so you need to make choices.

I think at the heart of all this is we want to skate into eternity and receive that shiny crown – without having to do the hard work of making choices and risking rejection being uncomfortable suffering another word. People want the glory of the cross without the hard work of carrying it-even in the generation they live. I guess human nature hasn’t changed much since Jesus was on the scene.

THIS election and time is separating the weakness of the flesh, from the raw courage of following the Spirit of grace. Freedom doesn’t come cheaply. It cost my forefathers their blood, it cost the prophets, the disciples, Jesus, everything: their lives.

Courage is a virtue that separates cowards from victors; our human flesh never wants to pay that cost. But it will cost us to die to self. Salvation didn’t come cheaply.

  2. God’s arrows ( of Truth ) will ALWAYS hit the mark.
Yes! His Worship will be in Spirit and in Truth ..( neither in this mountain, nor in Jerusalem shall they worship The Father..).
Lean not on our own understanding when His arrows hit.
Remember, ALL things were made by Him and for Him – even the enemy!
