Last week as I was listening to a noted Prophet deliver an address and Prophetic Word for America, he made a comment regarding the American Church and Covid.

He said that when the lockdowns end and Christians can return to Church, that 40% of Christian will not return, but will drop away.

The following night on my prayer-walk I brought this to The LORD, for I thought that whether this situation is from The LORD or not – I do not know – that in any case, The LORD can certainly use it for His Glory.

After I prayed, The LORD then gave me two positive things about that 40% ‘loss’.

First, that there will be lots of space in Churches for the new believers whom The LORD is going to bring in during the coming revival.

Second, that those who do not come back, will be those pew-warmers who do not in anyway contribute to the Church. They are the same ones who speak negatively and religiously about the Church they attend, and in that, would poison the minds of newcomers with wrong doctrines and irrelevant history lessons.

The LORD said that without those people in the Church, the newcomers would learn better and disciples will result, rather than just churchgoers.

After mulling this over for a few days, I sat with Jill to share what I had heard and understood from The LORD. The LORD then added a couple of more things as I spoke to her.

The first was that the remnant will be from the 60%, not from the 40%.

The second was that as I talked, The LORD reminded me of my March 24, 2020 HKP Word, “A Word for The Pastors and The Churches” in which He warned the Church to prepare for the revival to come.

The 40% cleansing, as I now understand it, is in preparation for His coming revival.
