Pot Holes of our Land

If you pave over the surface of a pothole it may appear normal to the eye but it is still functionally useless. As soon as the weakness is put under stress it will cave in. However, since the danger is no longer visible to the eye it is only increased.

Our nation has taken on a policy of paving over pot holes without first filling them. So while the leaders reassure us saying, “Look! We fixed it!” we are finding that when these patches are put to the test they fail. In fact, it would have been better had the gaping holes been left open and exposed. At least that way people could spot the danger so that some may steer clear of it.

Until we fill the holes there will be no solution for this land. Dangerous pitfalls will abound and indeed they will multiply. The only answer is heartfelt repentance and a complete unreserved return to the one true God this nation once declared itself to be under.

There is a vast difference between being broken and full of holes versus being HOLY.
