“And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations,” Revelation 2:26.

God did not send His Son so that we could live in our comfort zone!

He died to deliver us, so that we would rise up, take up our cross and follow Him!

Following Jesus, has always called us to a life of risk! This life calls us to face our fear of death and follow Him to the ends of the earth!

It Cost Them All to Follow

Following Jesus caused His disciples to leave all and follow Him! It caused Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to step into a fiery furnace, trusting that God would deliver them. And if He didn’t, that they would still be with Him one day!

Following God cost Moses his position in the courts of Pharaoh, that would have given him a life of riches and luxury!

It cost Daniel a time in the Lion’s Den, and it cost Abraham a time when He would have to offer up his promised son!

It cost the apostles their very lives and many their reputations!

It cost Esther risking perishing to do what God was calling her to do! And there are more examples of this in the bible. (read Hebrews 11)

Yes, Jesus died to save us from our sins, but he never promised us a cushy life! In fact He called us to a life of risk and a life where Like Abraham, we must step out into the unknown, not knowing where we are going until He says stop!

This life, is the most exciting life that you can live! It is the only life that you will ever truly be alive in!

Why? Because our purpose is why we are here! It is why we were born, and why we are still alive, no matter what age we are! If you are still here then you have purpose!

The Overcomers

Oh yes, there are many that will be saved as by fire but… if you are to be what the book of Revelation calls “THEY THAT OVERCOME!”

You will have to, “LOVE NOT YOUR OWN LIFE UNTO THE DEATH!” It doesn’t save you, but it will cause you to rule and reign with Him here and now and in the life to come!

You see, He didn’t save us just for us, but that through our risk taking, and through our stepping out in faith, that we would TAKE THE KINGDOM BY FORCE, and that we will bring many more with us when this life is over!

The LORD Is Saying – It Is Time for the Overcomers!

God is saying, “It is time for the overcomers to arise in the earth!

“And He said to all, If any person wills to come after Me, let him deny himself disown himself, forget, lose sight of himself and his own interests, [refuse and give up himself] and take up his cross daily and follow Me [cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying also].” Luke 9:23.
