Always Rebounding
This Sunday, Christians all around the world will celebrate Easter which is also known as “Resurrection day“. It is the most significant holiday of the year because it is the day that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead, the veil had been torn and we have entered into a Covenant with Him. The bible says that death could not hold Him, and in the same way, the Lord is showing me that He wants to release us from everything that is holding us down, keeping us bound or holding us in darkness.
The Holy Spirit gave me this analogy of an “inflatable clown punching bag” which has been a popular toy for many decades. This punching bag will return right side up, no matter which way it is tossed or how hard it is punched. Whatever direction it is thrown in, whether it is placed upside down, hurled down a flight of stairs or even if it is flung out of a window, it will always bounce right back up on its feet. Many of you who were not able to get back on your feet in the past will discover that the Lord has given you strength to rebound and endure.
The Lord says;
I have conquered death so that you could have life in abundance. I have overcome the world so that you could also be an overcomer. Just as Joseph was thrown into prison and bound in chains, he was able to rebound because he understood the plans that I had for him.
Just as Job went through much misfortune, he received double of all that he had lost because he knew that My plans could not be thwarted. In the same way that David pursued, overtook the enemy and recovered all, after he returned from Ziclag, you shall surely recover all that has been stolen from your life. When everything in his life seemed to be destroyed and lost forever, he encouraged himself and all was recovered. I will give you the strength to rebound in the same way that others had overcome through trying times, as you see the greater plan. Don’t bend, bow or submit to any tormenting or harassing thoughts that the enemy is placing in your mind.
Refuse to allow any negative memories from your past bring despair to your soul. Don’t allow fear or worry to take up residence inside of you.
Know that you are more than a conquer and able to come back stronger after every trial. When you are knocked down, you will get back up. When you are mentally or verbally abused, refuse to allow those words to affect you. When you are lied to or lied about, remember that Satan is the father of all lies.
As you continue to believe Me at My word, you will be strengthened.
Don’t allow disappointments to disillusion you from attaining your goal or deter you from going forth to accomplish the destiny that is set before you. These misfortunes that were sent to destroy you will strengthen you as you endure hardness as a good soldier.
Do not allow anyone or anything intimidate you and don’t be moved by the enemies strategies which will be ineffective.
Rise up as men and women of faith and take the position of the warrior that I have created you to be. As you pursue the dream, the calling and the vision that I have placed in your heart, your perseverance will catapult you ahead into all that you have been called to do.
As you strengthen yourself in Me, you shall surely rebound in all things says the Lord.
“I know that you can do all things; no purpose of Yours can be thwarted” Job 42:2
“We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed- always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body” 2 Corinthians 4:8-10.
“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confesed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses” 1 Timothy 6:12.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” 2 Timothy 4:7..
