All Things Are Possible With God!
How eternally precious, in the eyes of God, is the human soul, who has been moulded to serve as His precious earthen golden bowl, to serve here on earth, Heaven’s eternal goal.
Chosen as the trove to store Heaven’s Treasury down below, filled with riches far more costly than silver and gold.
Surrendered and yielded to serve His supreme will, flooded with His Love, soaring High and above.
Spreading their wings as a dove, basking in the warm glow of His Favour, Peace and His Love!
Let us go on, as we keep focus on our Vision and Heavenly call! Remember that very, very soon, Heaven will beckon us all, to come and stand before Him, our crowns to receive for our earthly choice to worship, serve and celebrate Him, above all!
“In that day I will restore the fallen house of David.
I will repair its damaged walls.
From the ruins I will rebuild it and restore its former glory,” Amos 9:11.
Tonight I am feeling assured of God’s purpose and that the LORD will have His way in His people.
His program is RESTORATION, and He will restore His people from the corruption of religion and the demonic influences of man’s carnal mindsets that they have been influenced and stolen away with.
There is a moving of the Spirit and a stirring in the hearts of His people to return to the Truth, to return to Him and to His feet.
There is an urgency being quickened for true and Authentic Encounters that does not excite the realm of the flesh, but which deeply moves and transforms the inner-man.
His remnant will rise. The ancient ruins of intimacy and a life lived in worship and comm-Union with Him, will be rebuilt in the hearts of all those who will be drawn to come, and who will answer the inward call of His Holy Spirit.
Many people spare themselves. They spare their health. They spare their money. They spare their time. They spare their lives.
They are so concerned that they may lose something on earth and they fight to keep it all and to lose nothing of it. They fight to live and to maximise their lives on earth at all cost and at every expense.
As a disciple, may I ask you what you are sparing your life for?
What are you saving yourself for?
What are you scared to lose?
Live your life for Christ! Lose it! Lose yourself!
Lose your well being! Give it all to God and in service to Him!
Be like Paul, be “a drink offering that is poured out upon the altar!”.
Bear the marks in your body of a life lived in service to God!
Let your body work for Jesus – Wear it out for Him! Let your money work for Jesus – Use it in His service!
Give yourself and don’t try to save your life, lest you lose it!
“One Life t’will soon be past”, CT Studd says, “Only what’s done for Christ will last!”
“If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it,” Jesus (Matthew 16:25).
* * * * * * *
“And when Jesus heard it, He said to him, “One thing you still lack. Sell everything that you have and divide [the money] among the poor, and you will have [rich] treasure in heaven; and come back [and] follow Me [become My disciple, join My party, and accompany Me].”
But when he heard this, he became distressed and very sorrowful, for he was rich — exceedingly so.
Jesus, observing him, said, “How difficult it is for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God! For it is easier for a camel to enter through a needle’s eye than [for] a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”
And those who heard it said, Then who can be saved?
But He said, “What is impossible with men is possible with God.”
And Peter said, See, we have left our own [things — home, family, and business] and have followed You.
And He said to them, “I say to you truly, there is no one who has left house or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the Kingdom of God Who will not receive in return many times more in this world and, in the coming age, eternal life,”” Luke 18:22-30 AMPC
It wasn’t about riches – the disciples wanted to know :-
“Who then would be able to be saved?”
How will anyone then be able to come to salvation, for all people we know are living their lives woven into the system of this world and for the things of this world?
This tells us that He was speaking about the common people, for everyone was certainly not rich!
So Jesus was not referring to riches, but He used a rich man, (a man affected in the worst condition) to demonstrate the reality of His lesson.
He was speaking about those who have made themselves a part of the world and of whom the world had become a part of – it was about being involved in (integrated and woven into the world, and its ways) caring for the things of the world, having gathered treasure in the world (that became precious to oneself), having found security in the things of world, having come to love the world and all it hade to offer, having being woven into the system of the world and having found success ion doing so, having become a part of the world.
… Jesus continued to answer their question –
“With man it is impossible (in the natural it will be impossible for anyone to break free and to forsake the world to follow Me) but all things are possible with God (but by the Power of the Holy Spirit and by a supernatural miracle from Heaven performed by the Hand of God it will be possible!)”
We may not have the power to say – “Here I am LORD, and all that is a part of my life, I yield and surrender and forsake all, for You to become LORD of all in my life – but if we are willing to heed His Spirit’s call – He promises to come by His Power and to accomplish in us, what we in the natural would certainly fail to be able to do.
In this way we can never glory in our accomplishments, but, looking up into His Face, we recognize His Glory and His Grace!
