All Sin Is Not the Same
You’re Catholic friends got some things right, but they were mixed in with so many Roman Catholic doctrines, that the human footnotes by the popes and other leaders took precedence over the truth in My word, making much of it null and void.
In the separation from the Catholic Church there were some accuracies that were also thrown out by the protestant church in the Reformation. I will share one Kingdom truth that they had accurate.
The truth about sin as it’s viewed in My Kingdom. The catholic reference to sin categorizes it into two simple categories, venial and mortal, which are very Catholic sounding categories but very accurate in My Kingdom.
Venial sin does not carry the death sentence, and mortal sin carries a death sentence. We in the kingdom refer to as the second death, (Revelation 20:14).
Two Sin Categories:
“If any man see his brother sin a venial sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death,” 1 John 5:16-17.
It is extremely important for you to understand this, because I see many believers heaping condemnation on those who are sinning a sin that is not until death, as if they are going to be sent to hell for it, which is the farthest thing from the truth.
Here is the real truth, those who are picking out these lesser sins are guilty of more sins than the person they are pointing out. This form of self righteousness actually puts them in danger of a sin that is onto death. It is the sin of judgmentalism.
I very clearly and specifically said, “Judge not, and you shall not be judged: condemn not, and you shall not be condemned: forgive, and you shall be forgiven,” Luke 6:37.
All those who do this are setting themselves up as Me, deciding who is worthy of the death penalty. and who is not. I said very clearly as you judge, I will judge!
By you heaping condemnation on another brother or sister for something I do not condemn in that manner, you have forced Me to judge you with the same self-righteous harshness you used on earth.
You can be sure after breaking this Kingdom principle that I will carefully scrutinize all of your judgments that you have made on earth and judge you in the same manner. You are to only pray for the forgiveness of that sin in another person’s life, not condemn them. It is by your old uncrucified human nature that you make self-righteous judgments and therefore are opening yourself up to greater judgment when you stand before Me.
Sins That Are Unto Death:
To help you out let Me categorize just a few sins:
Sins that send the human soul to Hell, the second death, (Revelation 20:14).
These are sins that the individual who commits them, must first of all confess directly to Me and I will cleanse and cover that sin no matter what it is, with My blood and it will no longer exist.
“If you confess your sins, I promise I am faithful and just to forgive your sins, and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness,” 1 John 1:9.
One of the greatest sins unto death is how you treat an orphan and widow. Both in the New Testament and the Old Testament, My Father does not change his attitude.
In the Old Testament He says, NOTE; These are My Father’s very own words:
“You shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child. If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry; And My wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless,” Exodus 22:22-24.
However in the New Testament, He said,
“it would be better if a millstone were hung around your neck and your cast into the sea than to stand before Him on judgment day,” Matthew 18:6.
This is very serious with My Father, yet taken very lightly with millions of believers. The children, especially orphans, are mistreated, and neglected, when donations are given, many times it’s trash that someone decided to throw into a donation basket instead of on is on the dump.
I also said, “In as much as you’ve done it unto the least of these you’ve done to me.” Millions of tons of trash I’ve been thrown at My feet, revealing that there is no heart change in donor always keeping the best for themselves and throwing the trash at My feet. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal, Matthew 25:40-46.
Then then there are the more well known listed sins unto death such as:
“Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God but go to hell,” Galatians 5:19-21.
Sins That Are Not Unto Death:
These are sins often called faults, that you see committed by others that you can pray for them, ask forgiveness for them, and they will be forgiven, without them even knowing it, however your prayer must be based in love, not self righteousness.
Your attitude must always be to restore never to put down.
“If a man be overtaken in a fault, you which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering yourself, lest you also be tempted,” Galatians 6:1.
These are personal sins that you are to confess not to Me, but to one another, that you might be healed in that area. These are sins that do not involve other people as much as they involve one’s own self, such as smoking and habitual things that are not good testimonies and not good for your physical body. These also include bad language and habits that have not been broken, (James 5:16).
These sins will be dealt with at My personal judgment seat, not the great white throne judgment. The loss here will be loss of rewards not loss of your soul. This is where:
“every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire,” 1 Corinthians 3:13-15.
Here is the good news that can handle every type of sin, the secret place where you spend time in the presence of My Father will eventually destroy all the works of the devil, no matter what type of sin it is, because you will take on My Fathers sinless nature.
The greatest place on earth is the secret place of the Most High. If you make that your dwelling place and you will never suffer any of the effects of sin.
