All of the Books in the World Could Not Contain
“And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written, Amen,” John 21:25.
We know of what Jesus talked about and what He did when He walked the earth. We have the accounts written down for us from the apostles and those that had witnessed these things first-hand.
We also have the writings of the prophets who spoke of His coming centuries before His arrival. And yet, we must know that there were many things that He had done and said, that had not been written down.
For during those thirty years of walking upon the earth, all of the books ever written down, could not have held all of the details from His life story. Indeed, everything that was important in terms of His birth and arrival, have been recorded for us.
Those things that were witnessed about his life as a young man in the temple have been written down. The choosing of the twelve disciples and their relationships with Him, are there for us to read.
The accounts of His betrayal by Peter and His dark time in Gethsemane are there for us to see as well. And the darkest time that led up to His crucifixion and the glorious resurrection, are also inscribed in scripture and there for us to consider.
But what of those who saw Him from afar? Who else saw and witnessed His arrival into their small village?
We know that there must have been thousands who saw Him, and heard about Him from the many stories that were being generated throughout the countryside.
And now we are transported two thousand years forward from that time to the present. We also are part of that story that began, that we read about.
For the life and the journey of the Son of God continues now with us. Now we are part of the pages that will be filled and contained in the books.
For as is written,
“However when He, the Spirit of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth; for He shall not speak from Himself, but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak; and He will show you things to come,” John 16:3.
Now those things that before had been written down, are now inscribed upon human hearts. Those things witnessed from afar, are now experienced within us.
Those things promised and spoken of, are now coming into existence.
Selah,

Stephen Hanson of In His Truth Ministries came to the LORD is a special way in 1975 and has prophesied regularly since. In these end-time birthing pangs we are reminded that judgment must first begin with the household of God. Will we be prepared and ready?
