Abide in Me, All Who Are Called By My Name!
Worship the LORD in the splendour of holiness; tremble before Him, all the earth! (Psalms 96:9).
From the heavens You uttered judgment; O LORD, the earth feared and was still (Psalms 76:8).
By faith we understand that the universe was created by the Word of GOD, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible (Hebrews 11:3).
By faith, Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. By faith he went to live in the land of promise, as in a foreign land, living in tents with Isaac and Jacob, heirs with him of the same promise. For he was looking forward to the city that has foundations, whose designer and builder is GOD (Hebrews 11:8-10).
To the believers, you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to GOD through Jesus Christ (1 Peter 2:5).
Hear and give ear; be not proud, for the LORD has spoken. Give glory to the LORD your God before he brings darkness, before your feet stumble on the twilight mountains, and while you look for light he turns it into gloom and makes it deep darkness. But if you will not listen, my soul will weep in secret for your pride; my eyes will weep bitterly and run down with tears, because the LORD’s flock has been taken captive (Jeremiah 13:15-17).
Arise, O GOD, judge the earth; for You shall inherit all the nations! (Psalms 82:8).
All the nations You have made shall come and worship before You, O LORD, and shall glorify Your name (Psalms 86:9).
Glorious are You, more majestic than the mountains of prey (Psalms 76:4).
Simeon related how GOD first visited the Gentiles, to take from them a people for His name. And with this, the words of the prophets agree, just as it is written, “After this I will return, and I will rebuild the tent of David that has fallen; I will rebuild its ruins, and I will restore it, that the remnant of mankind may seek the LORD, and all the Gentiles who are called by My name, says the LORD, who makes these things known from of old.” Therefore my judgement is that we should not trouble those of the Gentiles who turn to GOD (Acts 15:14-19).
Jesus told His disciples, “If anyone would come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me” (Matthew 16:24).
“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He may give it to you”, says the LORD (John 15:16).
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:3).
For you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to GOD through Jesus Christ (1 Peter 2:5).
He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? The LORD shouts to the city: “A wise person respects the LORD’s name. So pay attention to the punishing rod and to the one who uses it! (Micah 6:8-9).
For the fear of the LORD leads to life, and whoever has it rests satisfied; he will not be visited by harm (Proverbs 19:23).
“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you”, says the LORD, “ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples” (John 15:7-8).
Tell the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their deeds (Isaiah 3:10).
For he who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty (Psalms 91:1).
For He will hide me in His shelter in the day of trouble; He will conceal me under the cover of His tent; He will lift me high upon a rock (Psalms 27:5).
Watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive (Romans 16:17-18).
Come, my people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until the fury has passed by. For behold, the LORD is coming out from his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity, and the earth will disclose the bloodshed on it, and will no more cover its slain (Isaiah 26:20-21).
“So have no fear of them”,, says the LORD, “for nothing is covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known” (Matthew 10:26).
Justice, and only justice, you shall follow, that you may live and inherit the land that the LORD your God is giving you (Deuteronomy 16:20).
For then you will delight yourself in the Almighty and lift up your face to GOD. You will make your prayer to Him, and He will hear you, and you will pay your vows. You will decide on a matter, and it will be established for you, and light will shine on your ways. For when they are humbled you say, ‘It is because of pride’; but He saves the lowly. He delivers even the one who is not innocent, who will be delivered through the cleanness of your hands (Job 22:26-30).
GOD’s power protects you through your faith, and it keeps you safe until your salvation comes. That salvation is ready to be given to you at the end of time. I know the thought of that is exciting, even if you must suffer through different kinds of troubles for a short time now. These troubles test your faith and prove that it is pure. And such faith is worth more than gold. Gold can be proved to be pure by fire, but gold will ruin. When your faith is proven to be pure, the result will be praise and glory and honour when Jesus Christ comes (1 Peter 1:5-7).
Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to GOD acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, for our GOD is a consuming fire (Hebrews 12:28-29).
Blessed be the name of Jesus Christ, the Lord of Harvest, for He reigns and rules in all the earth forever and ever!
Amen and Amen!
