Abba Father is singing a lullaby
Today, I was awakened and had an unction to pray the Lord’s prayer over me and my family. Then a few hours later, I heard a lullaby, which I haven’t heard or sung for years.
I didn’t even know it was Brahm’s lullaby until I Googled it. It is the Lord singing over us, Beloved.
When I read the words, it made me weep, knowing how much our Father loves us. Even though it speaks of mother in the lyrics, know that one of the names for God is El Shaddai, literally, the many breasted One, meaning He who is all sufficient for us.
Know that when you are weary and tired, Abba Father is singing over you a lullaby. Fight your battles from a place of Rest in Jesus. Isn’t He wonderful?
A great song from Bethel Music is posted below. I had heard it a few weeks ago, but never knew how it would ever connect with something I would write. The lyrics are “His Song of War is a lullaby.” How amazing is that.
With Love to you, His Beloved Child
Lullaby and good night, (My Peace I give to you) John 14:27.
With roses bedight, (I am the Rose of Sharon) Song of Solomon 2:1.
With lilies o’er spread (I am the Lily of the Valley) Song of Solomon 2:1.
Is baby’s wee bed. (I remember You on my bed) Psalm 63:6.
Lay thee down now and rest, (Come to Me and I will give you rest)
May thy slumber be blessed. (He gives His beloved sleep) Psalm 127:2.
Lullaby and good night, (God rejoices over you with singing) Zephaniah 3:17.
Thy mother’s delight, (God takes great delight in you) Zephaniah 3:17.
Bright angels beside (God gives His angels charge over you) Psalm 91:11.
My darling abide. (You are altogether beautiful, my darling) Song of Solomon 4:7.
They will guard thee at rest, (Angels are encamped around you) Psalm 34:7.
Thou shalt wake on my breast. (I hold you close to My heart) Isaiah 40:11.
The Holy Spirit just whispered to me,”Sleeping Beauty“.
