A Word to the Wise!
“For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear” 2 Timothy 4:3.
This is for those who are wise in their own eyes (Proverbs 21:2). Just to let you know that when God gives me or any other servant of his a word to speak. It is not up for debate or to start a rally poll or opinion for.. Yes, all words are to be tested, but instead of trying and testing the word, some find the need to speak out and rally a cheering squad when the word cuts into their flesh.
Now, I don’t know about the rest, of you, but I for one do not find a reason to be, nor am, I easily intimidated, afraid, nor hesitant to post His word to……whether it addresses myself, the President of U.S.A., the Queen of England, world leaders, bishops, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers, family, children, the Illuminati (??), or whomever, because when God gives a true word, all of heaven backs you. And if God is for you, then he is more than the whole world against you (Romans 8:31)! And I know this for a fact! However, I do have to control my out-spokeness, but never a problem with shyness! (2 Timothy 1:7, “For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”)
With that in mind, a lot of people are putting themselves in grave danger by not really testing the Word, but just “butting” against it and rallying a cheering squad just because God has exposed and cut them to pieces. Especially the men and women of God who claim to be spokesmen for the Lord.
God can send a Word on any sin that exists, but when He starts to speak out against pride among church leaders (Proverbs 11:2), rebellion (1 Samuel 15:23), money-changers, hirelings (John 10:13), and crooks that are leading the people astray, well its a problem…. It starts a whole political campaign of supporters! So with the scriptures to support the facts, it just goes to show that things have not changed too much since the time of Christ (Matthew 21:12, Jeremiah 23, Ezekiel 34) and other had to confront the wickedness and greed from some of the leaders in the church.
Some people are just ignorant to the fact but some know better and will get the audacity from Satan to start to rebel and speak against God’s word. You have a right to test and try a word to see if it is from God. So use that right. But as of now, be forewarned that those who decide to speak out vainly against God’s word no matter what he addresses, will find themselves falling into the hands of an angry God (Hebrews 10:31)! When god sends his true word, you are not speaking against the messenger, but you are in fact speaking against God himself! If God sends a true word, try and test it, that’s what the word of God is for. And if i or any other that god speaks through is in error, then its on us. But if we are speaking God’s true word and you feel the need to round up your “clicks” and cheering squads, then God will deal with you and them!
No, it is not necessary to defend God’s word, but some are in error and do not know or feel that they are. God gives everyone a chance to consider their ways (Psalm 119:15). On the other hand, as for me, I am on the wall for the Lord and will not come down unless he moves me (Nehemiah 6:3).
I am only quiet when God says so, and I speak when He says to speak. So therefore, when it comes to the Word of God, I don’t have to compromise for anyone on this earth! Absolutely no one! Nor do I find reason to not release God’s word because of who it addresses. If I can take all of the hits, rebuke, correction that He sends to me, so can others when its their time. So when God speaks, stop rebelling, take the hit like a true soldier and keep on marching! (2 Timothy 2:3).
