A Word of Comfort to His Children
This morning as I was praying The Holy Spirit, simply spoke: “Speak a Word of Comfort to My People.”
This is what I discern. There is too much ‘fear’ everywhere.
There is NO time to be afraid! We are to be constantly about our Father’s business. Our God most surely warns us about things to come, so we can prepare!
Still be very careful listening to anyone that speaks a dismal message, of “Thus saith The LORD,” and leaves you with no hope! Apply understanding, and go to The Father and The Word of God with everything!
Love life, enjoy people. Give out the good news of the ‘Gospel of Peace’. Yes, I know the scripture,
“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.” 1 Thessalonians 5:3.
It is the Word of God and we must know we are in the last of the last days.
Still keep your balance and focus.
One of my very favorite scriptures is about the joy of the Lord being our strength. What about the fruits of the Spirit? Let us continue to operate in them.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.” Galatians 5:22-26.
There’s so much chaos in the world! We see things coming, so out of love we warn our loved ones. We must be true ‘Watchmen on the wall’.
Still if it is all warnings and no hope is applied, it can leave people bewildered. We must keep our eyes on the ‘Prize’! Home soon. What a day of rejoicing that will be!
“Blessed Assurance Jesus is Mine….”
May I leave you with the words to this song? It is old, I know, but has beautiful words. God bless you all.
“Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine
O what a foretaste of glory divine
Heir of salvation, purchase of God
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood
This is my story, this is my song
Praising my Savior all the day long
This is my story, this is my song
Praising my Savior all the day long
Perfect submission, all is at rest
I in my Savior am happy and blessed
Watching and waiting, looking above
Filled with His goodness, lost in His love
This is my story, this is my song
Praising my Savior all the day long
This is my story, this is my song
Praising my Savior all the day long
This is my story, this is my song
Praising my Savior all the day long
This is my story, this is my song
Praising my Savior all the day long”

~ Joyce D. McGuire
My name is Joyce D. McGuire, called to work in and for the Kingdom of God! To lead we must try to follow Jesus Christ closely. That is my heart. I am a Chaplain in the prisons; prophetic intercessor by His grace, author, and a Mother in the Kingdom of God. To many I am simply Mama Joyce. Some favorite verses of mine are Matthew 11:28-30.
Thank you dear Joyce for this message. If ever there was a time for us Watchmen to keep our balance and focus, it is now. You are singing my song..Blessed Assurance. We are about to shake the dust off some of our old prophetic words and war with them for the Lord is moving and breathing on His promises. Blessings and love, Sandi Holman
