A Word from The LORD for America
Tonight The LORD spoke a word to me that was both a sober word and one filled with hope.
He said,
“This nation will not awaken without tragedy, but tragedy WILL awaken this nation.”
Take this Word to your prayer closet.
He Will Shake the Nations Once Again!
In Haggai chapter 2 The LORD declares that He will shake the nations once again.
Need we wonder when He will do so? Even those who do not know the word of God have seen with their own eyes that the nations are being shaken. They feel uneasiness as the foundations of those things which are held true are being shaken from beneath her feet and as the sand shifts they find that the ground on which they stand is not solid after all.
Has their hope lied in the financial system?
Has it rested upon the healthcare system?
Has it been fixed upon the return of the stock market or the job market?
The LORD is the establisher of institutions and of governments, but they do not form the foundation. He alone is this foundation and so when He moves so too do these institutions.
Recall Jesus’ words when he said “The heavens and the earth will pass away but My words will not pass away.”
Do not the signs in the heavens and upon the face of the earth bear witness?
Even the headline news bears witness to God’s glory and to His testimony. It proves that His word is true. Every written word shall come to pass. Not a single stroke of the pen will have been taken in vain.
The Greatest Love
The greatest love is not that which is met with a reciprocating response. The greatest love is that which is met with hatred and yet remains steadfast. This love strikes at the very heart of the enemy. It demonstrates that true love is contingent upon nothing.
This love stands firm in the face of all that opposes it. While it may be assaulted it does not yield. Rather, it is that which opposes that is eventually brought to ruin.
Stand firmly rooted in Christ’s love and know that while you will face enormous opposition, you will not be moved.
Human Anger
Human anger is often selfish. God’s anger is selfless.
Human anger is about obtaining a desired outcome based on a limited understanding.
God’s anger is about restoring that which has gone astray based on His complete understanding.
