A Word for August 2015
Something has been stirring in my spirit about the 7th, 8th and 9th months. Spiritual warfare has been intensifying for many of you all, especially when it comes to relationships and marriages. The enemy has released a full attack on married couples in this season that have tried to “sweep” certain issues under the rug. The enemy is causing the spirit of doubt, fear, depression, lust, perversion, lawless, and greed to tear apart marriages that God ordained. Do not give up!
1. Use your words:
Don’t think about praying, pray. You create what you say! Your situation is waiting for you to open up your mouth.
2. Pray Consistently:
Pray away your own doubt and discernment until you believe what you say.
The Lord is instilling the fear of the Lord in this next season.
We are suppose to fear the name of the Lord, not commit these awful acts of sin in his presence and expect the Lord to deal with it. The true saints of God are rendering their hearts and fully committing to God while the lukewarm saints are remaining disillusioned.
God is bringing order back to the house of God.
God keeps stressing that he WILL get the glory. For those of you who attend churches that consistently quench the spirit, keep your eyes open for a move of God that no man can shut down. God is making in presence known throughout the earth.
Many of you are at a “crossroads” in your life.
Many of you are deciding whether to leave your job or to stay. Many Christians have been at odds with their spiritual leaders. This is the month where God is going to endow each of you with wisdom to make the decision.
Many of you already know what you are suppose to do, but timidity has crippled you. I pray that God gives you boldness to step out on faith and not remain in the boat.
Lastly, God is doing something in the praises of his people – specifically the dance of his people. Reconsider doing spiritual warfare not just with your mouth, but with your dance. There is an anointing on the “dance”, use it.
“Let them praise his name with dancing, making melody to him with tambourine and lyre!” Psalm 149:3.
“For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds,” 2 Corinthians 10:4.
“Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep thy precepts. Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes. Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law,” Psalm 119:113-136.
