A Time of Reflection and Preparation
“And in the day that he goeth into the sanctuary, unto the inner court, to minister in the sanctuary, he shall offer his sin offering, saith the Lord GOD. Be ye enraptured unto Me, come unto Me, would say the Lord” Ezekiel 44:27.
“4 But in the same night the word of the LORD came to Nathan, saying, 5 “Go and say to My servant David, ‘Thus says the LORD, “Are you the one who should build Me a house to dwell in? 6 “For I have not dwelt in a house since the day I brought up the sons of Israel from Egypt, even to this day; but I have been moving about in a tent, even in a tabernacle. 7 “Wherever I have gone with all the sons of Israel, did I speak a word with one of the tribes of Israel, which I commanded to shepherd My people Israel, saying, ‘Why have you not built Me a house of cedar?’” 2 Samuel 7:4-7.
In this season, I want many of you to come unto Me in a special way. Let it be a time of reflection, would say the Lord. Let it be a time of giving and not receiving. For those who give unto Me, spend their time with Me. They come into the sanctuary of my presence.
Come into the inner court, would say the Lord. For too long, many of you have just come into the outer court. You beheld my presence from afar. Come past the candlesticks. Come past the walls that have separated you from Me, says the Lord. Behold, there are many others who have beheld me from afar. They have just touched my robe. But come and sit at the table with Me. For the table is prepared for you and Me and our time together. Come behind the curtain that has separated us. Come through the open door. For before you, my courts are always open to you.
For as this is a season of reflection, it is also a time of preparation for what is ahead. You may ask, ‘What may we be preparing for?’ I say, to have your temples prepared within. For when I say to come into my sanctuary I don’t mean a place. For it has always been this way with some. You build great houses of worship for Me, but I reside in that secret sanctuary within you. You want to build something great for Me; then build that abode within you. Then you will come into the most beautiful sanctuary of all. For my courts are to be filled with the sounds of praise, would say the Lord.
Behold, the many altars that some of you have set up for Me, have a pretense and a reverence for worship, but the real altar is set upon your hearts.
The time will come when your houses of worship will be destroyed. Where will you meet Me then, would say the Lord? When the land is scourged and taken over, surely this is because we didn’t build Him a beautiful place to worship in. And then on that day I will say that I never knew you. For if you knew Me you would have known about these things.”

Stephen Hanson of In His Truth Ministries came to the Lord is a special way in 1975 and has been prophesying regularly since. In these end-time birthing pangs we are to be reminded that judgment must first begin with the household of God. Will we be prepared and ready?
