A Sacrificial Covenant
A sacrificial brother (sister) covenant takes blood!
As I was meditating upon The Word of God He, highlighted this portion of scripture to me regarding Covenant Relationships and how that they come with a sacrifice.
Like, Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul. And, so must we love one another as we love our own selves.
“Jesus said unto him, ‘Thou shalt love The LORD thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, ‘Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.’ On these two commandments hang all The Law and the prophets.”” Matthew 22:37-40. emphasis added.
“And, so Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was upon him, (this robe was symbolic for authority and power) and gave it to David, and his garments, even to his sword, and to his bow, (which was symbolic for warfare) and to his girdle.
And David went out whithersoever Saul sent him, and behaved himself wisely: and Saul set him over the men of war, and he was accepted in the sight of all the people, and also in the sight of Saul’s servants.
And it came to pass as they came, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, that the women came out of all cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet king Saul, with tabrets, with joy, and with instruments of music.” 1 Samuel 18:3-6 KJV emphasis added.
The Bible says that charity seeks not its own.
“Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.” 1 Corinthians 13:1-8 KJV emphasis added.
Jonathan and David had such a love for one another. The love they had caused a bonding like glue that sticks to paper.
It was a sacrificial love of trust and it sought not to harm one another, but it caused them to lay down the sword and to even surrender it to a friend to hold out of trust and faith.
Whereas the love that Saul had for David was one of envy, strife, division and hatred! And, whenever Saul had a chance to show love to David he always had a motive, an agenda behind it, because it was never out of the pureness of his heart but was to bring about the demise of David!
Although David had shown him nothing but kindness and he never once took out the javelin to slay King Saul even though he had the opportunity to kill him he would not and on several occasions spared his life.
The LORD is speaking in this hour, and it is time to surrender the sword and lay it down at the altar.
The Bible says,
“And the second greatest commandment is like unto the first one which is to love thy neighbour as thyself.” Matthew 22:39.
If you wouldn’t harm your own self — why would you take the sword to kill another sister or brother in Christ Jesus?
“‘Put your sword back in its place,’ Jesus said to him, ‘for all who draw the sword will die by the sword.’” Matthew 26:52.

Apostle Geraldine Fisher has a World-Wide-Social Media Net-Work Ministry. As a Missionary, God moved her into the Office of a Prophet, revealing to her the qualities of a True prophet, humility, humiliation, loving others, interceding in prayer, as she keeps her own life clean to accurately hear from God. Since hearing the audible voice of God calling her to ministry, she’s been called to intercede and pray for others in ministry as God speaks, instructs, directs and gives prophetic words for her to give to others. God promised He would bring her to sit and to learn before great men, all of which He did!
