A Rose Among The Thorns!
God began to show me a rose with many thorns.
Roses are some of the most beautiful flowers in the world.
The question for some would be, “Why does this beautiful flower have so many thorns?”
The thorns are there to protect the rose!
It helps them to not be destroyed or devoured. It helps them retain moisture in the dry and arid climates that they may not only grow and survive, but thrive!
Do you have that thorn in your life?
Have you considered God placed that thorn there for a reason?
Those thorns will cause you to cling to Jesus as a rose clings to a wall. I know it is hard to thank God for a thorn in your life sometimes, but look for the gift in the thorn.
The best and most costliest gift of thorns God gave to us was the crown of thorns placed upon the head of our beloved King Jesus.
The Rose of Sharon wore that crown of thorns. Without the thorns, there would be no roses, without that crown of thorns, there would have been no salvation.
That thorn defends the rose harming only that enemy, that devourer who is trying to steal the beauty and holy fragrance of the blossom!
