A Real Hard Look At Yokes
“Do not yoke together an ox and ass. The ox will try to press ahead; the ass will be stubborn, resist and sit,” ~ Quote Sherry Edwards Mackey.
No effective work can be done when there is such a yoke. Just greater frustration.
We foremost are to be yoked with the LORD! Being yoked also applies in marriage and in all godly relationships.
There are many acts of service and support in that field of ministry. Yes plowing and other responsibilities are all needed as pertains to that field of ministry.
There are none greater than the other. All of the group are needed to maintain that ground they gain; AND for harvest! In Jesus name!
You cannot control or make someone do or want something. It has to come from their own God given choices. We are ALL accountable unto God for choice, obedience and where he places us to be.
A group that has to rely on manipulation and control to make people remain; If you look closer, you will see these symptoms are the fruits of a jezebel and witchcraft spirit.
“Accountability and responsibility is absolutely paramount in these times for protection! We need this protection to be sure that we remain in the LORD’s service. We must find our place of service and find who we are connected to. Do we understand integrity and excellence? Are we walking in humility, honesty and loyalty? These things will keep us close to the Chief Shepherd of our souls. From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love,” Ephesians 4:16 KJV.
“Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our LORD Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment,” 1 Corinthians 1:10 KJV.
“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the LORD, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the LORD Almighty. Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?” 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 KJV.
