A Prayer for Mercy

A Prayer for Mercy
Oh Yahweh I acknowledge you as King of kings and LORD of Lords, and there is no God beside you neither can be compared to You.
You are beautiful for situation, sovereign in all You do.
You rule with a Sceptre of Righteousness and You reign supreme.
Majestic are You O Lord God Almighty!
I praise Your Holy Name.
You are the fullness of the Godhead, who can fathom You O Holy One.
Father I stand in awe of You and come in humble reverence and in Your Fear, for O God trouble is imminent.
LORD, I come on the behalf of myself, my children, my family, your people.
LORD, I ask for your forgiveness of all trespasses and ask for mercy.
Abba, I confess we have sinned against You and those made in Your image and likeness.
We have done wickedly, strayed from Your paths, dishonored Your Laws, Ordinances and Precepts.
We have committed fornication even with other gods and set up idols in your face and worshiped molten and graven images.
Men have neglected their responsibilities as priests and drank from the cup of whoredom and women offered up their children to Molech.
We as a people have become so perverse and devious, dabbling in witchcraft and forbidden arts, brought disgrace and dishonor to You.
LORD, many of the accusations made against us even as a nation in Your Courtroom we cannot even justify, because we have been disobedient, stubborn, lawless, ruthless, murderers, unkind, selfish, mockers of your prophets, high minded, prideful, full of lust, hatred and bitterness.
Abba, I cry out according to Daniel 9 and confess our iniquity.
“O Lord, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee. O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee.” Daniel 9:7-8
Father, spare us your wrath I pray in Yeshua’s Name.
Let us not go down with them that go down to the pit and Sheol.
Let not our names be blotted out from the Lamb’s Book of Life.
Father we know justice must prevail for the innocent cry out to You, and so LORD, we will not stand in your way of passing through Egypt and this modern day Sodom and Gomorah, this Babylon.
But we ask Oh God that You will be merciful onto us Your chosen.
Let violence be far from us.
Hide us for we seek refuge in You Jehovah. Give your angels charge over us to keep us in ALL our ways.
We ask for mercy, nevertheless your will be done all wise God and indeed let Your Kingdom come!
Hallelujah!
LORD have mercy!
Unanswered or Denied Prayer
One of the biggest hindrances to unanswered or denied prayer requests is not lack of presumptuous or intentional continuation in sin and sinful practices.
Psalm 66:18 declares, “If I regard iniquity in my heart, The LORD will not hear me”
Being sanctimonious, and scrupulously observing religious ceremonies, intellect and great speech will not garner the attention of God neither will sacrifices and burnt offerings, but rather in penitence, sincerity and genuineness of our hearts.
Unconfessed sins and an unrepentant attitude can greatly impede our relationship with The LORD and even cause a barrier.
The prayers that are God approved are those lifted from a heart that is broken and contrite according to Psalm 51:17.
One that comes from a heart that seems after righteousness, humble and recognizes it’s need for forgiveness and restoration with the Most Holy One and acknowledges mans insufficiency without God.
“The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart — these, O God, You will not despise.” Psalm 51:17
Shalom
