A Place of Rest
Their Is a Place of Rest in Christ Where Nobody Can Disturb Your Peace in Him — Not Even the Enemy!
As I was meditating upon The LORD, He spoke to me that as His People begin to come dependent upon Him, they will learn how to enter into His Rest.
As I began to research this rest and what it means, I found out in the Hebrew the word for rest is nuach: to rest, to be quiet.
Sometimes, it is synonymous to shabat: to cease or to rest. The Greek word for rest is anapausis: meaning cessation, refreshment. (Lee M. Fields)
Sometimes, we as the people of God, must learn how to just be quiet. Which means to be still, calm, relaxed, laid back, or just to hold our tongue while God is at work.
Why? Because, when you learn to become dependent upon God you remain in a quiet place.
Waiting on and watching Abba Father for what His next move is, for your life, as He begins to speak to you and to download somethings He either wants to do or say to you, in this next dimension of your life.
Fields in his book speaks about this rest being a cessation, which means to bring somethings to an end, conclusion or a finish as when Jesus was upon the Cross He bowed His head and said, “It is finished!” (John 19:30).
You see, Jesus knowing that all things were now finished, that the Scriptures should be fulfilled.
Here we see that Christ rendered a complete obedience to the Will of the Father. Their was no struggles or fighting He surrendered His life willingly because He knew what both His mandate and assignment was so He quietly accepted the fate of His destiny!
And, as The LORD spoke this to me, I could see a calm, a rest, peace and a stillness as Jesus gave up something so precious to Him; His life and His supreme Lordship to come down as a mortal man to die for the sins of a nation.
The LORD is taking many of His people in a new dimension of grace that will come under the weight of His glory that will reveal who we are in Christ and who He is in our own personal lives.
Jesus even at the Cross had every right to come down off the cross to destroy His enemies but instead He remained in a hidden place of both tranquility and rest!
Even when the two malefactors argued among themselves and one was saying save thyself, and us and come off the Cross if you be the Christ.
But, Jesus refused to fight and nor did He defend himself but instead God opened the other malefactors eyes to see that which was right and just and he said that this man has done nothing a miss but we are the ones that deserve our fate, (Luke 23:41).
I thank God tonight, because I feel such a closeness with The LORD as He ministers to my heart to remain in a secret place of both rest and in peace knowing that like He guided every aspect of Christ’s life from the time of his birth until the time of His death than how much more will He do for His own people in this season.
This next dimension of their lives! You see, Jesus was placed upon a tree tried, tested and proven and in the end He completed His assignment with a joyful and a peaceful heart!
He was confident that the same God that had begun this work in him was more than able to bring it into completion!
I believe God is birthing and completing a work within His people. Those who will willingly surrender and trust Him by entering into His rest as He completes it.
Will this be an easy process? Of course not!
The LORD said to me that the enemy is going to fight you both tooth and nail to stop the finished work of the cross from happening in your life that The LORD has set before you just as He did Christ!
In fact some malefactors will be put in your path to try to get you to come down off the cross like they did Christ as you are in the middle of a Cross road!
One will say to you come down it’s not God and the other defending your destiny as you remain quiet in the midst of the storm but in the end if you make the right decisions the work will speak for itself and you will have no need to defend yourself because God will raise up a deliver to fight on your behalf.
For, the scripture says that if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
But, let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. (Hebrews 4:8-11 KJV)

Apostle Geraldine Fisher has a World-Wide-Social Media Net-Work Ministry. As a Missionary, God moved her into the Office of a Prophet, revealing to her the qualities of a True prophet, humility, humiliation, loving others, interceding in prayer, as she keeps her own life clean to accurately hear from God. Since hearing the audible voice of God calling her to ministry, she’s been called to intercede and pray for others in ministry as God speaks, instructs, directs and gives prophetic words for her to give to others. God promised He would bring her to sit and to learn before great men, all of which He did!
Amazing. Thank you.

The enemy is fighting the church on every hand and it is so comforting to know we are Following his footsteps. I think sometimes it is so easy to forget he went through like sufferings and if we want to be like him we also must suffer likewise
Thank you so much for the reminder that if he suffers so must we if we want to be like him
A timely message and reminder to us all as believers
