It is 02:00 in the morning here in South Africa and I cannot sleep.

Not because of the restlessness of my body, but because of the stirring in my spirit. I am acutely aware of a time shift that has come, and I have been aware of it for the past few days.

I have come to the realisation that a new time has dawned and a new season has come, both for the world as well as for the Church.

For those in ministry nothing will be the same again.

Those who minister by the Spirit, will be shifted into a higher gear where ministry will no longer be about “calling,” or about obligation towards fulfilling their duty to God, their church or humanity.

They will be drawn into a new walk where they will live closer to God than ever before and from their intimacy with Him, they will go as they are sent by the Holy Spirit, to intimately share the compassionate heart of Christ. No more will they do anything because of requirement, but only by the Spirit and only as He leads and sends them to go…

I am talking about those who have an ear and will hear!

They will minster with the embrace of Christ to everyone to whom they minister. They will minister intimately and personally and will do so with strong passion and convictions of God’s Love flowing from their innermost being, and as they behold Him in this intimate place, others will look at them and see Him too.

Folks, the times have changed. Change is not coming, it is here! The world is becoming darker. It is time to seek the Light.

In the days ahead we will see separation, upon separation, upon separation, as the wheat will be separated from the tares.

Let those who truly belong to Christ rid themselves from every compromise, every besetting sin, everything that would hinder His Presence and do so as the Holy Spirit will lead them to do and will point out to them, that which has to change and go.

We are running the final mile. We are in a final moment of grace being purged, purified, pruned and prepared.

Let’s give it our all as He comes to strengthen us in His Power and Spirit’s Might!
