A Letter to Today’s Church
The Church is only for Perfect People!
We have got to get REAL!
This is a long read, but should be READ by all Churches and all believers who really want to see families, friends, celebrities, presidents, communities and nations getting SAVED.
Church has locked its doors to the ‘IMPERFECT’.
We have no room for those who have bleached skin, tattoos, nose-rings, tongue-piercings, navel-rings, long weaves, colored hair, black-polished nails, red lip stick, high Louboutin heels, booty-shorts, dreadlocks, men in earrings, acrylic-nails, fake-eye lashes, men who can’t stop boozing, boys who can’t stop the drug jabs or the continuous smokes.
We have locked the doors to the men who are attracted to other men, and to those who cannot stand to be in their own bodies.
We have locked the doors to those who can’t just wait for their own man, and so they go after married men and to those who can’t seem to stay off the red lights, as they wait to satisfy their needs and passions.
We have locked the doors to those who seem to think being an atheist makes you fit in, and hating God, makes you fashionable.
We have locked the doors to those growing up in homes where everyone is confused about their gender.
We have locked the doors to those who find it normal to have marijuana cakes for breakfast and whisky as black-tea.
We have locked the doors to the ones who have been left by their spouses and to the ones who had children out of wedlock.
We have locked the doors to those with smelly breath and are reeking sweat. To those who live on the streets and those that can’t dress up as smart as we expect.
We have locked the doors to those that can’t tithe, or can’t give an offerings in thick envelopes.
We have locked the doors to those who are completely HELPLESS.
We have locked the doors to those who need JESUS, and to those whom JESUS actually came for.
We have decided that church is only for the PERFECT, and only those who have made some effort to change their lives before they come to the LORD.
We have forgotten that if it were not for Jesus, some of us would still be bar-hopping, chain-smoking, drug-dealing, partner swinging, escorting, home-breaking, pot-belly chasing…. and the list goes on.
Where are all these people supposed to run to and how are they supposed to ever go free?
How are they supposed to know the LORD, and how are they supposed to get saved?
Who can prove that church has LOVE any longer, when everyone is discriminating the ‘SINNER’?
Church today actually hates the sinner!
Why do we still stare at the ones who come in with imperfections and start naming every spirit they are carrying, as if they know anything more than, “Jesus wept?”
Why do we make a big deal when they cannot pray like us, or sit in church for hours like us?
Why do we stare rudely at them, when they can’t close their eyes during prayer, or when they chew gum all through the service?
Why do we stare at them, when they come dressed like they were not aware if they were going clubbing, or going to meet God?
Why do we stare at them, when they show up covered in tattoos, a nose pulled up with a metal bar, a brow pierced with a mini arrow ,a tongue locked with a metal nail, and lip smeared in blood?
Beloved, I have been once bound and so I clearly know that when one is SO BOUND, they believe what they are doing is just OK. The devil blindfolds us to think that way!
“The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel” 2 Corinthians 4:4.
Many of us came from the world and we were worse in STATE more than many of those we are now judging, but the GRACE OF GOD was mighty to SAVE US.
If Jesus came for the SINLESS, then some of us would never have entered the Kingdom.
If Jesus hated tattooed people, some of us would stand outside the gates of heaven.
If Jesus hated the navel ‘ringed’ and nose ‘ringed’ and multiple ear ‘ringed,’ some of us would be pierced everywhere by now.
If Jesus hated those who could not figure out their sexual orientation, some of us would be doomed for hell.
If Jesus would not reach out for the whisky-bringer and chain-smoker like me, I would still be on it right now.
Well, my sins DID NOT all stop on the day I got born again. I struggled, I hid, I cried, I got confused, I pleaded with Him for a good while until I got to this point where I can easily say that there is truly a God that is MERCIFUL and loves all those He created.
Church is not a place for perfect people. Church is for imperfect people, hurting people, sick people, confused people, struggling people, rejected people, despised people, lost people.
Church is for people whom the world has written-off!!
It does not mean that this will be the permanent state of these people, because if TRULY, the HOLY-SPIRIT is moving within such a church, these people will be transformed effortlessly.
It does not mean that if we let them in, we are ENTERTAINING sin, instead we are creating proper platforms for ERADICATING sin.
If the RIGHT spirit is operating within that building, then these people will become less worldly and more Holy.
If God has called you to lead a Church, then He will give you GRACE to lead people in such situations back to Himself.
If you cannot lead and walk with this kind until He has managed to overcome some of these stubborn demons, then you are not really CALLED. You might want to shut down your ministry and consider being led as well, by someone who can help you break loose from the RELIGIOUS SPIRIT.
The religious spirit has blocked the access of those willing to be saved, because it discriminates them openly. It judges them OUTWARDLY and makes them feel unworthy of salvation, (Matthew 23:13).
You can only brag and say you are an effective leader if you are leading all these ‘Jesus-in-need’ people into a place of victory, and if you have led people in such situations into truly living their lives for Jesus.
A true leader is one who can be used of God to re-shape and rebuild that broken POT. You are not a true leader, just by the mere fact that you bumped into a pot that needed a touch up, or a final shine, just before it got bought.
The mark of Holy Spirit led leader, is the one who can be used of God to completely re-shape a broken pot which actually has some pieces missing, and not just one that needs a shine.
The mark of a true leader is not by how many perfect people he attracted into his building, but by how many imperfect people have found hope in Jesus after walking into His building.
Nobody who is truly saved, will be saved every other Sunday, so we cannot only preach the gospel that is understood by only those are saved and delivered. We must preach even to those that have no idea what the Kingdom is, (Luke 15:7).
“I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance,” Luke 5:32.
The Holy Spirit will start His work of REGENERATION on all who hear the message and believe, but they have got to be allowed to hear the message!
“When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, ‘They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance,’“ Mark 2:17.
It is either of two things; that the Church is not BOLD enough to go out and meet the world, or the Church buildings are too STUFFY with the religious spirit, that no one from outside can come in, unless they wear an oxygen mask and inhale huge doses of this spirit before they walk into such a building. (If not, the person can easily faint 3 minutes later).
Let us RE-OPEN the Church doors to all those that want to enter.
The reason behind the five-fold ministry is this: Each part of the BODY of Christ has a function which can lead a hell-bound man into a victorious destiny on earth and in Heaven.
Post Script:
I struggled with smoking and drinking for almost one year after getting born-again, but HERE I am, standing and praying for all with stubborn addictions.
I struggled with many other areas too, but I have conquered most through the HOLY SPIRIT.
Mark 2:13-17 will summarize it:
“And He went out again by the seaside. And all the crowd came to Him, and He taught them.
And as He passed on, He saw Levi the son of Alpheus sitting at the tax-office. And He said to him, Follow Me. And he arose and followed Him.
And it happened as Jesus reclined in his house, many tax-collectors and sinners also reclined with Jesus and His disciples. For there were many, and they followed Him.
And when the scribes and Pharisees saw Him eat with tax-collectors and sinners, they said to His disciples, How is it that He eats and drinks with tax-collectors and sinners?
When Jesus heard, He said to them, They who are strong have no need of a physician, but the ones who have illness. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
But some will attack me, because of this post, but I will not be surprised, because Luke 15:2 says:
“And the Pharisees and the scribes grumbled, saying, “This man receives sinners and eats with them.”
I am not encouraging sin in the Church, I am encouraging the Church to actually fight sin. How do we fight things we are actually scared of? I’ve never heard of conquering without confrontation.
Shalom,

Thank you! It needed to be said.
May the Lord bring understanding to those who lack.
Thank you sister for these words, we all have to let God do continual work inside ourselves.
The ‘churches’ have totally misunderstood what God says and therefore they believe that: “be subject, then, to God; stand up against the devil, and he will flee from you,” James 4:7, means to stand against (condemn) the sin in other people but it is first and foremost about the evil inside ourselves and “that” devil can only flee if we let the Holy spirit do His work inside us and let Him deliver us from our own evil thoughts.
“For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within (ourselves) and those without God doth (and He alone!)judge; and put ye away the evil( in your own hearts) from among yourselves,” 1 Corinthians 5:12-13.
