“Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had. And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years,” John 5:2-5.

This is one portion of the scriptures I am so loving. I just wanna pull out a deep hidden truth from it and lay it before you. perhaps this will be one revelation you are so needing. Enjoy!

We are already familiar with this story and so I do not have the luxury of time to dwell on the story. But for the purpose of laying a foundation on which we build a revelation I will remind you that the pool of Bethesda had many people who were in one adverse situation of life or the other. They were eagerly waiting for just one thing; an angel who usually comes once in a year to STIR UP THE WATER and whosoever enters in first is healed of any infirmity.. This means that, only one person eventually gets healed. What a fate!

But on a second thought, why do they even need an angel? The Angel was not the healer.. The Angel only did something anyone could do. There was nothing so supernatural except for the angelic presence. All the angel did was to STIR THE WATER. The healing virtue was not the angel but in the water. It just needed to be STIRRED and that was what the angel did.

Why should a pool of such powers be full of people with affliction and infirmities? Candidly I also wonder myself!

You see ignorance is a damager of destiny! The chances for ignorant men making it are very slim.. so very very slim. A knowledgeable person in Christ has several many opportunities of success coming his way so long as he keeps up minute by minute with the Spirits revelation.

Most times we wait for God to do things for us which we should do for ourselves. God will not do it if we don’t stand up and do it for ourselves!
Every man has a pool of power resident in him. He does not so much need an angel to stir him. He just need to know what the contents are in the pool. Jesus said “Out of your belly shall flow RIVERS OF LIVING WATER.” Not just any river but RIVER OF LIVING WATER. The water is A LIVES that is in you how come you die of need and infirmities? Hmmmm… perhaps waiting on an angel?

You DON’T need to wait for an angel. Understand the dynamics of the water! The healing virtue lies DEEP WITHIN THE POOL and all that is needed is a STIRRING! If only the people at the side of the pool knew, they would all have been healed in one day! IF I KNEW THEN WHAT I KNOW NOW I WOULD FULLY BEEN TURNED INTO A SPIRIT!

The people were so ignorant of the Acts of the Lord! All that was needed was for them to understand what the angel does. “STIR THE WATER” if they knew that, then someone would have just jumped in and START TO STIR while everyone gets in to be healed!

It is to this intent that Paul told timothy to STIR UP the gift inside of him!

Friends, stop complaining and start stirring up the virtue in your pool! Don’t look for another man’s pool to be healed, you have enough healing virtue in your pool! STIR UP YOURSELF and get up from that pity side of destiny where you are!

Get up and look within 2015 has been challenging but look to the brighter side. 2016 can be your best year ever!

I came to tell you, STIR UP YOUR POOL AND YOU WILL FIND YOUR HEALING!
Sometimes what we neglect the most holds our greatest fortune! The woman with the pot of oil possibly didn’t know the potential of the oil in her house till the prophet showed her. Her husband wouldn’t have died of high blood pressure and in debt had she known that that neglected pot of oil could fill empty barrels of jars!

As you begin to explore the power of the pool in you, blind, cripple, impotent situations around you will begin to receive divine touch of healing!

Don’t wait for an angel, stir up your pool and get the desired results!
