A haughty spirit goes before a fall! Who is it about?

I heard God say this morning, the Pride of Life is destroying My house (church)!

I hear God saying that His work is not about you and it is not about me, but it is about Him (Christ the hope of glory), saith The Lord!

God is saying that many folks have forgotten that the true mission and purpose of their work (church)! The true mission and purpose of the Church of God is the saving of the souls!

How can we say we are doing a work for God when we are busy working in the flesh? God is saying that if you are caught up in the following: adultery (cheating on god/man), fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred (man/god/self), variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envying (jealousy, bitterness, resentment), murders (fellow man/killing others with mouth), drunkenness, revellings, homosexuality (man/woman/bestiality) and any such thing, you shall not inherit the Kingdom of God, saith The Lord! All these shall not be named among the saints and must be put away from among you, saith The Lord (Galatians 19-21).

In other words, God is saying, “How can you say you love Me and you refuse to keep My commandments?,” saith the Lord. “If any man says he loves this world and loves God at the same time, he is a liar and the truth is not, in him,” saith The Lord!

“How can you say that you love God and the world at the same time?” saith The Lord. The lust of the eyes, and the pride of life is not of the Father, but is of the world. The world will pass away, but the Will of God will abide forever (1 John 2: 15-17).

God is saying that it is time to make up in our minds; that this walk is not about you, but it is about The Lord and what He is requiring from His people in this hour. This time and this season is either going to be holiness, or hell! “It is your choice and your decision” saith The Lord! “You can not have it both ways!”

God is saying, “Choose ye this day whom you will serve?” (Joshua 24:15). “It is time to make your decision,” saith The Lord, “You can’t serve two masters you will either hate the one or love the other; either you will hold to the one and despise the other,” saith The Lord! (Matthew 6:24).

I hear God saying that many church folk cannot get there minds and hearts out of the gutter of craving for the spotlight (the platform)! The craving for honor and applause! Watch out for the worms to tear your flesh, because God is not pleased with the church stealing His glory for works they have not done, saith The Lord! All glory belongs to God and Him alone! (Acts 12:23).

God is saying that, “Those who are filled with pride, necks have become stiff, and their noses are up in the air as if they have some right to steal My glory!” saith The Lord. “They walk as if they woke themselves up and have caused themselves to breathe the breath of air that is in there own bodies,” saith The Lord! “These hypocrites are stubborn minded and they will not allow my people to come to Me and repent of there sins, because they are full of pride and there sins are standing in the way of salvation!”

I hear God saying that pride keeps us from admitting when we have sinned and when we hold leadership positions in the church, it also blocks the sinner from coming to God, because they stumble over our sins and they cannot see Christ, the hope of glory! (Psalm 1:1).

God is saying, “My leaders have become like the Pharisees who prayed as one who needed no forgiveness, and got none. Get ready for destruction!” saith The Lord, “Because pride goeth before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall! It is coming!” saith The Lord (Proverbs 16:18). “You can run, but you cannot hide! The eyes of The Lord are in every place beholding the good and the evils, and your sins will find you out! When pride cometh then cometh shame it is better to repent now than for the sheets to be pulled off” (Proverbs 11:2).

There is only one sin that God cannot forgive (other than the blasphemy of the Holy Ghost) — and that is the sin that you refuse to repent of, saith The Lord! God is calling for true repentance and He will take nothing else short of a broken and contrite spirit: a godly sorrow and retentive heart in this season (2 Corinthians 7:10).

Repent, repent, repent. He is coming! It is not about anyone of us, saith The Lord, but the cross of Christ!
