A Great Time of Trouble and Travail
“Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.” 1 Timothy 6:19
A Great Time of Trouble and Travail
In fear and trembling, I give this Word that The LORD recently gave to me.
“My Son,” Thus sayeth The LORD, “a great time of trouble and travail is coming to your Nation.
Many are not looking for it. Many are not watching. Many are not waiting. Many are not expecting.
They are caught up with the cares and affairs of this life. They are caught up with the things of this world. They are caught up in the things that they are concerned with.
My Son, I AM coming for a people that are in love with My appearing. I AM coming for a people who want Me.
I AM coming for a people who are looking for Me.
I AM coming for a prized purchased possession that is longing for Me. It is not many more days and The Son of Man will come. The Son of Man will return,” sayeth The LORD.
“My Word is Truth and coming to pass,” sayeth The LORD.
“Yea, a great time of trouble and travail is coming to this Nation and to this world. Many do not see it and many are not looking for it, but it will come — it will come —“ sayeth The LORD.
“Watch and be ready unto prayer.
Yea, a great time of weeping — a great time of travail — a great time of sorrow — like has never been — the likes of which has never been before.
Has not My Word declared this? So few are looking. So few are watching. So few are preparing.
But, My Son, I AM with those who are hidden in The Secret Place with Me. I AM with those who are in The Secret Place with Me, and I hide them under the shadow of My Wings.
Look only to Me, The Author and Finisher of your Faith.
My Son, a great and terrible, tumultuous day is coming — on this Nation — the Nation that you live in.
It is coming,” sayeth The LORD, “a great time of deprivation. Yet, in the midst of it — in seed time and in harvest — a birth will take place — a child will be born — a Nation will be born. In the midst of trouble and trial it will come.
I AM demanded a recompense. Be encouraged in Me — not in another — not in any other — but only in Me.
Watch and see the things happening in the world, but do not watch and see the things happening in your world — in your life — and let it distract and cause you to be dismayed, for I AM Your King.
I AM Your LORD. I AM Your Great and Mighty Reward,” sayeth The LORD.
“I AM all that you need. You do not need anything else.
I AM coming for you, even as I AM coming for all of My children,” sayeth The LORD. Thus and thus sayeth The LORD . Amen.
After The LORD gave this to me, I began to search The Scriptures to make sure that it lines up with The Word of God.
Daniel 12:1 tells us, “And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.”
As I began seeking The LORD in His Word, He showed me that — though trouble and travail are similar — they are not necessarily the same thing. Trouble is just that — trouble. Travail, on the other hand, includes the birth pains that lead up to the trouble, “And it came to pass in the time of her travail, that, behold, twins were in her womb” (Genesis 38: 27).
“And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.” Isaiah 13:8
Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail” (Psalms 48:6)
In the midst of the great time of trouble and deprivation, in seedtime and harvest, a birth will take place — a nation will be born, and that is the people of Zion,
“Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.” Isaiah 66: 7-8
“For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee.” Isaiah 30:19
“And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art my people.” Isaiah 51:16
There’s a time to plant and a time to grow, “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” (Genesis 8:22).
Everything in its proper order. Jesus said, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit“. (John 12:24).
First the seeds are planted, but once they die, they sprout up and bring life. The trouble and travail come first, but at the end of the struggle comes harvest! A great harvest will come forth as a result of, and after this, great time of trouble!
The Prophet Micah tells us how Zion will come out victorious after the great time of trouble:
“Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go even to Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered; there The LORD shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies”. Micah 4:10
“Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel” Micah 5:3
“Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of The LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;” Joel 2:1
The LORD also shared with me that few are speaking forth His Word, because they are more interested in what they have to say.
The LORD Jesus left me with these two Scriptures from Psalm 37 to share and leave you with:
“Trust in The LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed” Psalm 37:3
“But the salvation of the righteous is of The LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble,” Psalms 37:39
Praises be to Our Wonderful LORD and King, Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
Amen!
