“When the enemy shall come in like a flood, The Spirit of The LORD shall lift up a standard against him,” Isaiah 59:19b.

The evil one does not grow weary in his horrible schemes and deeds, where he seeks to destroy the righteous.

Constantly he is planning, and moving in many ways to cause much trouble.

The devil [cannot take anyone away from The LORD, nor can he destroy their salvation], but, he can hinder and make things very hard for all those who seek to serve The LORD.

The evil one works day and night to move plans into place which will bring down the plans of god through his people.

I heard this illustration spoke of by a prominent Bible teacher, who said: “The enemy has many devices.”

He seeks to kill, steal, and even destroy all who would dare to serve The LORD. As long as a believer sells out to the world and moves away from His righteousness, the enemy of God does relax his plans, for he knows that if he leaves such a one alone, he will not advance the cause of God.

But the minute the enemy sees one moving into serious relationship and responsibility of service for his God, the enemy moves quickly by assigning many demons and even principalities [or what and whoever he must assign in his realm].

The evil one studies the righteous to find their weaknesses and sin prone areas, then he doubles up on like kind demons to attack their weakness.

The evil one listens into the righteous when they talk, picking up on all their plans, then he moves to block their plans.

The enemy will design a flood of many things to come suddenly upon all diligent and spiritual men, thinking only to bring them down and drown all their plans in water, mud and aftermath.

So diabolical are his many watery plans, the attack is as a damn breaking of watery destruction!

This is the very time The LORD does move in mercy and in grace, calling His host of Angels and His Might to rise up in the flood and put it out!

The fact is, The LORD alone is able to deliver those who are objects of such a flood, and he is more than able to calm the greatest storm.

The LORD’s back-draft of protection of His Standard may seem to many as very great and destructive itself, but, when finished, the righteous are delivered.

Consider these verses:

“The Eyes of The LORD are upon the righteous, and His Ears are open unto their cry.
The Face of The LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
The righteous cry, and The LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but The LORD delivereth him out of them all.
He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
The LORD redeemeth the soul of His Servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate,” Psalm 34:15-22.

I have written this teaching word in obedience to my Spirit Teacher, and do send it as encouraging to the many who are presently caught up in a flood, and see no way out!

Take courage, for The LORD will raise up a greater flood to deliver you all from, “All the enemy’s plans and terrible deeds.”
