The Woman, the Child, and the Dragon
“Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth. And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads,” Revelation 12:1-3.

Prelude:

I wonder if people have completely misread this sign in the sky. Let us look at the parts of it:

Draco the dragon (Satan) is there to devour the child but cannot – prevented by an external force from doing so.

There is a crown of 12 stars. 12 is the number of God’s Kingdom so this crown must represent His Rule.

The woman (representing the church) is clothed with an external power source (the sun) which I believe is the Holy Spirit.

A new revelation of Christ is born and sent into the wilderness (the Tribulation will be a wilderness for all who are not true Christians)

God’s people are protected in this wilderness for 3½ years then removed.

It would be logical and an act of Love by God to have people on earth during this wilderness time to help them find Christ.

The above would fit in with a lot of prophecy about God about to reveal His hidden people to do great things for Him.

Dream of Sun:

I dreamt I was with a group of people who suddenly pointed to the sky.

All I saw were dark clouds.

Suddenly t he sun started to break through from behind the clouds and the clouds gradually disappeared from in front of it until it was a brilliant white disk, then it suddenly disappeared.

I pondered over this.

The LORD told me that He was illustrated as the sun to show in the previous instruction that the sun behind the woman was The Holy Spirit who works through His people on earth.

The Church will become more and more visible until it is victorious, then is removed by the rapture.

He pointed out that only 20% of Christians would be raptured which means only 10% more of Christians respond to the revivals that will take place.

This means 80% of Christians will not be really affected by the revelation of Jesus that will occur.
