A Dream of Holy Laughter
A Prophetic Dream!
Remember the fuss this caused when it first appeared some 30-40 years ago.
“Holy rollers” was the somewhat derogatory term given to those who succumbed to the fits of laughter that left folk laying all over the place in meetings, usually howling with laughter.
Very undignified and very funny. Very Kenneth Hagin!
Well, last night I had a dream about holy laughter!
A group of us went to a rather nice restaurant. An old looking place, rather mid to high-end establishment. It was well patronised and people were quietly enjoying themselves.
At some point during our visit, a couple of our party began to laugh. Not your polite laughter – more a deep, contagious, belly laugh. Soon they had tears rolling down their faces.
Did I say contagious?
Well, pretty soon our whole party was laughing — loud guffaws of laughter. In fact, one or two were soon on the carpet, face down, roaring with laughter.
Pretty soon after that, others in the restaurant were joining them until the entire place, guests and staff, were rolling around laughing.
That’s when someone in our party stood up and explained that, “this is the presence of God by His Holy Spirit.” Then we started to minister to many who wanted to know more!
The Dream ended,
I woke up, and I asked The LORD about this dream.
From what The LORD showed me, I now believe we shall see this kind of thing happening in the coming season as The LORD begins to reveal Himself to the doubting and unbelieving world.
For some it will be an awakening, or reawakening of the faith of their childhood.
For others, it will be their ‘road to Damascus’ experience.
For still others, they will ignore it and shake it off as if it never happened, and they will carry on with their lives unaffected, unchallenged, and unchanged!

He has also operated Healing Rooms, and worked with deliverance teams, all with his wife, Linda. Happily now doing whatever The LORD asks of them! Founder, with wife Linda, of their ministry The Upper Room Encounter.
AMEN! “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones” (Proverbs 17:22).
Yes Amen and AMEN HALLELUJAH
This has happened to me on few occasions when I was being prayed for ,yes Lord I want more of you
[ HKP : “I was talking to a person a long time ago. I said that I would like to hear Jesus laugh. Surely his laughter would be a healing laugh. My interlocutor was horrified to hear this from me. Something as profane as laughter does not suit our Lord. I just thought, after all, God gave laughter, why shouldn’t he laugh? I didn’t want to get involved in a discussion because I had only recently gotten to know the community.” ]
The Bible tells us that God laughs! Jesus went to a wedding once, and I’m sure He didn’t sit straight-faced through several days of celebration. I too would like to hear Jesus laugh. I’m sure we’ll all hear it one day!
