A Dream about the Kingdom
Dear Ones:
Over the last few days, the LORD has reminded me of a dream from February 2013.
It was a short flash of a dream, but it has impacted me greatly. For many years in my private communications with Him, He has been majoring on the “Kingdom Within.”
Currently, we are waiting to hear from a publishing company about our last manuscript, “The Kingdom’s Higher Ground: Living as an Overcomer.”
As Christians, we are living far below what our inheritance in Christ has given to us. Simple child-like faith does not need to be ginned up; it just needs to be accepted, received, and released.
He told us that the greater works are for us to do. We must be about our Lord’s business and let Him live His life through us.
Here is the dream. I hope it stirs you up. I hope it enlightens your understanding so that you can see the benefits of the Cross are yours: for yourself, your family, and everyone who crosses your path.
After all, we are His agents.
Blessings & Courage in Jesus’ name.
Dream — February 2013
Upon waking, I saw two hands. I was looking at the hands as if they were my hands (that was my perspective).
The hands were holding what looked like a huge cookie or a piece of matzo (maybe pita bread).
Since I am more of a cookie oriented person that is what I identified with.
The hands broke the huge cookie in half. Then I looked and there were two huge cookies, one in each hand.
I heard myself ask, “Lord, how did You do this?”
The answer came immediately, “Just believe that the Kingdom has come!”
At this point I fully woke up.
Scripture References:
“Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you,”” Luke 17:20-21, NKJV.
“But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible,”” Matthew 19:26, NKJV.
“And they said to Him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.” He said, “Bring them here to Me.” Then He commanded the multitudes to sit down on the grass. And He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke and gave the loaves to the disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitudes,” Matthew 14:17-19, NKJV.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it,” John 14:12-14, NKJV.
